blow your socks off - are the socks in yet?

The AGM is after the start of the season so I would hope the shirts will be out by then.

the big questions is-why arn't they out now-must be a very good reason---financially it is madness not to have them now-it just does not make good business sense ?

Forgive me if someone has already suggested this, but why don't the club shop take advanced orders and payments and add a bit more cash to the pot so that they can actually be bought. I guess it all comes down to the club not having any moolah to pay for them, so why not do it? We already know what they look like so it's not like someone's going to want their money back later.

When you buy something from most shops and it is out of stock or waiting for delivery they so much want your business they take your name and number and ring you as soon as the item comes in!!!! Why BAFC don't do this is indeed p*** poor business management. No wonder the club is on its arse, no business plan or structure at all and the BOD's are business men!!!!

I see Workington are having a new kit launch night with a nice blonde lass showing off their new kit, and opportunity to question the management and directors. Shame we can't do this...

I've said it before and I will say it again if someone and I mean anyone puts themselves up for election even if the board don't want them Elect them its about time this lot were shaken up a bit, don't let the line of "Well I've put money into the club" phase you that's their prerogative to do so, what they going to do put the club into liquidation, I don't think so, and don't let them try to turn the club from a Members club to a P.L.C.

So you'll be putting yourself up for election then............or are you just passing the bullets?

Not saying people shouldn't (I actually think the board/club would benefit) but don't really see the point in just trying to get others to do the dirty work then sit back & have a pop at them in twelve months.

BTW, Peter has my full backing to be elected to the BoD's as he is prepared to actually do something about it & not just moan.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Looks like I will have to wait for elaine to bring mine to an away game sometime in October again.

If she doesn't mind of course :D

If the team don't have a kit then there's no chance of having replicas to buy.

When they had the vote for the kit didn't they say that they had no shirt sponsor? Would presume that would also delay things.

Well with the passing of this weekend the club has just lost £130 with not having the new shirts up for sale.
I wonder how much more from other supporters they are not going to get.
John Mackay I know works tirelessly for the club, but he is suppose to be the liaison between the board and the supporters, and has refused to answer all questions about shirt availability so he must be held accountable for this loss of revenue.
I directed a straight question on this forum to him and have not even been replied with a usual lame excuse.
If the board cannot give their members answers, then I am afraid I am not going to renew my membership for the coming season and I have been a member since the membership started.
It is about time that this board got their act together to improve the image of Barrow AFC.
The club would have been in the same position as 12 months ago if it had not been for the marvellous work being done by the true supporters of the club.

I will use my own discretion on the size this time as that one last season looked like a pea on a drum. I hope it is an away one you want cos I can only imagine your frame in a hooped shirt!!!!! :o
