According to Bayles on RC he is no longer at the club. Not prepared to elaborate on the radio but if any manager wants to know why he will gladly tell them.

Always thought he was a bit moody. Never really talked to the fans, smiled, just looked gloomy. Best he left to be perfectly honest.

Out of 2 pre season shockers I've watched the only stand out player in them has now left, awesome!

Always a risk when you sign these maverick type players who have had plenty of clubs that it wont work out, best he's gone now so we can get somebody else in.

I just had the feeling he might be a handfull when I read some comments by other supporters at his previous clubs.

Can't wait for the first post blaming DB's man management skill's
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

As 'Spirit of 1990' says. Try googling his name (Payne's, that is - I am sure there would only be good comments about Spirit). Seems to flatter to deceive.

On a six month contract it must have been a good reason

Its every season though Ian that someone has left or been frozen out before the first competitive game has started. This isn't a dig at Bayliss just find it funny that it happens every season.

Thankfully gone now before the serious stuff starts. Right at the beginning I said it smelled like another Obi Anouro and so it is.
Stood behind Ray Wilkie for years. Best education I ever had.

So no Pulitzer Prize then?

Anyway, he's gone. Looked like he might have something but also a lot of baggage. Who knows?

No doubt he'll pitch up at Witton or the like and pump us out of the Trophy  Perhaps he'll treat us to more words of wisdom on Twitter afterwards.
