Update on Ticketing and shirts from the club

Post by bafcdirect » Tue Aug 13, 2013 11:46 am

Update for fans regarding ticketing and shirts

Stand Transfer Tickets £1 per adult

As from the start of the 2013-14 Season commencing this Saturday 17th August 2013 there will be a £1 Transfer charge to all adult fans who purchase a ground ticket and then decide to sit in the stand.
This season the stewards at each end of the stand will ask to check your ticket to see if you are in possession of the correct ticket. If you do not, there will be an opportunity to purchase a stand transfer ticket for £1 from the BDF ticket sellers at the base of the Stand steps.
There will be no extra charge for Youths or Children but please ensure that accompanied children behave appropriately in the seated area.

Age Related Ticket Qualifications:-Concession, Youth 11-17, Child U11

The age at which Concession rates apply is 65 years and older. If you have reached this age we are more than delighted to support you with supplying you with a Concession rate ticket entry. If however you have not reached 65 & therefore do not qualify please support your club Barrow AFC by purchasing an Adult ticket. Age qualification also applies to Youth and Child tickets therefore please purchase the correct ticket for your age. The club has already reduced these ticket prices to help you attend so please be fair to your club and other supporters & pay appropriately.
Proof of age eligibility may be required in order to purchase such tickets.

Family and Tandem Tickets

With the lowering of prices this season especially for Youth 11-17 down to £5 and Children U 11 down to £1 we feel that it is not financially viable for the club to give further discounts with discounted Family and Tandem Tickets.
Thank you for your help, understanding and co-operation with all of the above.

Players Kits and Replica Shirts

Both of these should arrive at the club by lunchtime Tuesday 13th August. They then need the club badge embroidered and the sponsor’s logo added. This will take several days, with the team kit taking priority. We are confident that we will have some replicas available for purchase in the club shop prior to the game against Brackley Town.

Thank you for your continued patience awaiting this season’s shirts.

As soon as they are ready for sale I will inform you.

The firms in question will be doing their best to have them ready as soon as possible.

Team shirts are the priority as you can appreciate, but we are hopeful that we will have some replica shirts ready for Sat or earlier if possible.

Will inform fans when we have them in the shop for sale.

The Latin will be legible this year hopefully as last year you couldn't read it.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure on another thread you stated the shirts would be ordered later than originally planned because a shirt sponsorship deal (to go on the reverse) hadnt been quite finalised...yet the shirts turn up 3 days before the first game completely unbranded...and will only now get sent to the printers. Was the original post a lie??

I just feel so disengaged with the club. Just so frustrating. PLease start doing the basics right BoD.

Do we have a proof reader to check on the spelling of Barrow AFC before they go ahead and stitch the club up

The shirts are here - pre season, nice long sleeves for the for the coming autumn, and at no extra cost! That's a big pat on the back for the club shirley?
