He is the manager, the buck stops with him. It's his team, his players and for this level I believe they are good players, it's just that Bayliss is incapable of getting the best out of them.
He's been saying this for the last 3 seasons whenever something went wrong. His bunch of bandits are the ones playing like crap ever week, no one  elses.

It seems the tide is well &truly turning against Bayles!
Up till now Ive always been willing to give him the benefit of the doubt but todays events seem to be the actions of a man whos losing control.
To be proficient at anything you maintain a sense of balance & listening to that radio interview Dave seems to of lost it.
I really hope that for as long as hes in charge he can turn it round.

Why would he want to fight Chris anyway.....hes got a tank!

It's a bit embarrassing the amount of "I told you so's" that are appearing on here.

Having said that, DB has lost the support of the fans, probably well on his way to losing the dressing room & definitely lost the plot - it's a shame, I really feel for the bloke but this has to be it, the BoD's OR him have to realise that now.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Awful today. I've been to 5 of the games so far and seen us collect one point!! Up until the last 2 games I thought well we've played the top sides in the main but gloucs, Gainsborough who hadn't a single point and colwyn should be nine points, we got one plus whatever v colwyn. We look so bad at times it's embarrassing. I love Bayliss but where is the light at the end of the tunnel? We have been sliding since bath at home the year before last. Didnt see his altercation with Altree but Altree wasn't drunk and is about as violent as timmy mallet! Time to walk bayles thanks for the memories.

Always supported Dave, always confident he would turn it around, I like stability and i'm not one for change.
But the football is as bad as it was under Wilson, Dave has lost the fans, Tuesday night looks like 500 diehards will be there.
It can't continue. Dave won't resign and he will be confident of turning it around. Its obvious now Sheridan was the tactician.
Its not working, The board do have balls and will act accordingly this week.
Tuesday nights attendance will be a massive signal to the board that things need to change. If not before.
Gainsboro no wins all season!!!!! We have played 7 and won 1 It was never going to be easy. but the record is not good.

Anyway, back to the football .....

There's no way we should have lost to a team such as Gainsborough, rock bottom of the league and low on both confidence & ability (their no. 7, who rightly won the Man of the Match award, excepted) ... but we did. Two defensive howlers and two goals conceded; it could have been worse had McMillan not pulled off a number of last-gap saves from the feet of maurauding forwards.

At the other end, the amount of chances wasted by Barrow was criminal - it was the only criminal activity that I noticed at the ground. No-one seemed willing to shoot when often this would have been the best option, rather than trying to set up a tap-in. And Barrow's tactics seemed to revolve round a big hoof out of defence and hope someone gets on the end of it. That said, we did - for once - create a good number of chances but only Rushton, with a tap from a couple of feet out, managed to find the net. Other chances, on the occasions when someone chanced a shot, were high, wide, or both.

Based on this performance, I can't really see us doing anything but struggle at the wrong end of the table this season. And I am facing Monday's FA Cup draw with some trepidation - from how far down the non-league pyramid will the club who, on our form today, will inevitably beat us come from?

Just back from another very disappointing game of football.
Once again the team selection was baffling ,I always thought it best to play your strongest team but this team didn't produce much until Sunderland and Allen came on near end.
We never pull the trigger quick enough and seem afraid to shoot.
Our 2 centre backs have no pace and are easily beaten,we were pulled all over the place for both goals and on at least 5 occasions Gainsboro were in one on one and only dismal finishing made the score look respectable.
Gainsboro's no7 ran the show for 90 minutes and we never addressed that at any stage ,surely a decent manager would have sorted that,he thoroughly deserved MOM ,we had no body with his work ethic.
We need a change and hope the BOD do their job and remove present management
I do think the players are capable of better and may play to their true ability for a new manager

Just listened to it via the link above. Cracking radio. Terrible for the club. He so wants to succeed but hasn't got the ability. Reminds me of Orville...I wish I could fly right up to the sky....

Having spoken to a few people there today I can only feel sorry for what you saw firstly. I thought what I witnessed at Bradford was bad but my good friends and valued members of this forum have spoken. It must be difficult to have watched that today. Mr Bayliss will make the news. He's gone for a true fan who had a go, sorry but I would have done the same and if it wasn't for some decent second half at Bradford I was close. Whoever came up with the point about the supporters causing bother today I suggest you were simply there sat in what can only be a bubble.

The core of bafc may not turn up now. If I was back in la14 I would probably not having heard today's events.

:UB: seems a long way away now and the pride we had in d and d . Now I shall take my son to watch chorley as Gary flit and Matt Jansen won't swear at valued fans. In fact I won't even see chorley play barrow next season as chorley will go up.

You're a cock, always have been. Get a grip man, I think the only reason you go to games is so you can have a pop at our own fans.
No the cock is the idiot that wanted to fight three young boys and was ushered out before he got into any more trouble ,
Good to see the coach is a drink free bus eh idiots.
