Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.
If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

Re: Barrow vs Gainsborough
Game today wasn't great, like already mentioned number 7 for them ran the show and we let him.
Johnson a good player but tries to do it himself.
Our centre defence just allowed them to run straight through on several occasions and Mcmillan saved us a few times until the last time it happened and they scored.
Bayliss was shouting at us afterwards that we had loads of opportunities how's that my fault if they miss them he said.
All our chances I saw went over the stand which concerned me as my car was parked outside.
Parkinson first game and he was poor.
We get bullied off the ball to easy and the players just don't look fit enough.
Dreadfull day.

Yours, Splodge's and Donny bluebirds point is irrelevant on the Bayliss incident seen as Chris wasn't in the stand and wasn't asked to leave the ground. Some peoples actions could actually keep Bayliss in a job and that would be wrong.Steeley wrote:What about the fan who got chucked out? Barrow fans never in the wrong. No excuse for DB's actions.
Bayliss out please.
I hope Bayliss aint gonna use the after match incident to direct the attention away from yet another abysmal performance but I can see it happening. DB should go for both what happened after the match and the continuing negative rubbish we are having to endure watching which is driving fans away.

Fans (allegedly) shouts at Bayliss.
Bayliss over reacts.

I guess you don't know me because at no point did I attempt to fight anyone in fact if who had known who I were I was the man talking to the chairman of Gainsborough calming the situation down. I am getting sick and tired of you coming on here having ago at your own support.donny bluebird wrote:He's not the only one to tell him to [SwearFilter] off this afternoon. Re: Barrow vs Gainsborough
Wasn't there yesterday- really felt for those that were, and all of us at the moment frankly.
We have just lost to a team that had lost 6 out of 6 before we arrived. We have won one game in the BSN this season, and most of the time I've seen have looked spiritless and confused.
What Dave's done there is indefensible, on and off the pitch.
Before it all becomes even worse (if that were possible), before all the good days are tainted, before Tuesday night- Dave Bayliss must go.

I've never really disliked Bayliss, he's definitely shown passion and aggression throughout his time here, which I admire and is good to see.
I couldn't make it yesterday, but from what I here ( and of which I do not doubt ) he was truly out of order. He's, lets be honest, never been a great manager. We have had some fine players over the last few years, but have never been able to shon.
Always backed him, but time to go
I sincerely hope he's gone on Monday, and we can start a'fresh with our aggression and passion going for the team, and not against the manager out.

Re: Barrow vs Gainsborough
I'm in the same boat as Kieran on this one
Having had time to sober up and reflect on the news of yesterday's events (and that god awful radio interview) it really does sadden me. I don't think anyone could imagine that a parting of the ways would end up in this kind of situation?
For what Bayliss has achieved in the past he will be remembered but the past is the past.
I don't doubt that Bayliss has passion for barrow, and will probably be hurting as much as some of us to predicament the club finds itself in.
There was times last season where I felt sorry for the guy, he looked drained, ill and certainly on the brink of a nervous breakdown, judging on the events of yesterday it seems to me that breakdown has happened.
Never mind for the sake of the club, for the sake of his own physical and mental health I think he needs to go

Re: Barrow vs Gainsborough
Vile abuse?? Come on, get it in perspective. I hardly think shouting Bayliss out or telling him you think it's time for him to go is vile abuse is it?? Dave Bayliss has never suffered "vile abuse" whilst Barrow manager, in fact because of the good things he's done he's had it relatively easy for longer than most other managers would've been allowed.mally wrote:

Are you suggesting any form of criticism of him as a manager is vile abuse?? If so, get out more.
