He also, when with us, managed to get up over the Christmas period for the Study Centre book signing--a feat none of our other players managed because of the icy weather. He then visited the kids in hospital with Jason.

Sorry Elaine et al. This wasn't meant to be a cheap shot at Danny. Obviously highlights the difference between fans close to the club who know what goes on and exiles like myself who rely a lot on speculation and statistics.The cheap shot was actually aimed at our gloating friends up the coast who have achieved nothing at all since their NWCL success with Paul Stewart in the days of black and white telly (that should bring Rockerlad out of his cubby-hole!). Unfortunately they now seem to be flavour of the month with RC probably because they are closer to their beloved C******e.The current situation is obviously getting everyone frought but lets not fall out amongst ourselves.

I couldn't care less what Workington or any other club thinks and by answering any of their posts just gives them fuel to continue. Their opinions are irrelevant to me.
Using a former player to score points just seemed wrong to me, that's all.
I don't think anyone was falling out Skipper, just fans speaking up for a good person.

Anyone who construed Skippers post as a dig at Forrest needs to have a word with themselves.

I like Danny Forrest, he seems to be a genuine nice guy but pointing out his poor record to a fan of a rival team as a bit of forum banter seems fair enough.

Some people take the internet and life, way, way too seriously.
