The way this whole situation has been handled has been an absolute disgrace. From the incident happening in the first place, the way the meeting between Chris and Dave Bayliss was handled, the way the club have manipulated things and the length of time it's taken to be brought to a conclusion.

Complete and utter disgrace.

Could, & should have been handled a whole lot better.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Will it make any difference to Bayliss the manager?
Will it make any difference to Bayliss the person?

The man is fireproof - no matter what he does.

Must be laughing all the way to the bank.

The apology to Radio Cumbria, the listeners and the many others involved should have come as soon as possible after the event when it was known there and then that Bayliss had done wrong, that was surely common sense? It shouldn't have needed a lengthy investigation that involved directors, the manager and assistant discrediting hardcore fans in the local and national press and club website causing so much grief when all they needed to do was apologise.
This has been a PR disaster on a huge scale that will cost the club thousands in lost support and a lot more in good will, when they didn't need it. You'd hope they'll learn from this but I don't believe they will sadly.

Bayliss has proven to us after 2 years that he's incapable of managing a side, we have been treated to dreadful football ever since he took the reigns by himself. I like the guy and his passion but that doesn't win you games when it gets tough. Time to go for me Dave, the longer you stay the less you'll be remembered for the good memories, and more for the bad, this included.

This incident has been managed appalling by the board, an apology should've come out to Radio Cumbria within hours of the incident, not over a week later. He has done enough to be sacked both on and off the pitch in my opinion, but getting chance after chance due to him wearing his heart on his sleeve is poor vision by the board. Sadly there doesn't look like any light at the end of the tunnel in these sorry state of affairs.
Popular side since '03.

What a crock of shit, heard Bayliss in a short interview on the bay last week about the incident saying he had done nothing or very little wrong apart from a few swear words in an interview which he thought was recorded, the guy is fireproof in the eyes of the board.

Total joke.

Was going to try and get Saturday off for a game I couldn't give a shite about.

Not bothering now.

The club is getting close to breaking the final straw with me. Getting harder and harder to care.
