Paolo Di Canio would be in his element at Barrow.

Not bothering now.

The club is getting close to breaking the final straw with me. Getting harder and harder to care.

Did he??
No, I don't believe he did, and Bayliss needs to be held to account for this, casting aspersions and trying to spin his way out of this. It's one thing to believe the original interview at Gainsborough was being recorded (all radio stations will tell the interviewee if the chat's going out live or not, perhaps he missed that when he was being put through to the studio), but this is too much. I'm going to have to ask the Board members on this forum to consider Bayliss’ comments on this radio interview, and decide whether or not the supporter in question did admit he lied, and if not, then Bayliss will have to be asked for an explanation.

Until then Bayliss needs to be kept away from the media.

That interview is cringeworthy at best!

So who would you say is the liar?

A young lad with nothing to gain or an under pressure man with everything to lose?

Bayliss really doesn't do himself any favours, as for our board, words fail me, as reg says I'm finding it harder to actually support this club the way things are

I'm just waiting for a club statement saying that it's not bayliss on that interview, it is actually Paul Smith making a prank call, and it couldn't have been bayliss as he was carrying out charity work in Africa at the time.

Incredibly disappointed after hearing this radio statement. The fact that it was said that 'the fan' "admitted it was lies" is preposterous! I expected more from Bayliss as from what I can gather the complaint was retracted reluctantly, too create a swift outcome and has been abused.

Calling Chris a liar is absolutely [SwearFilter] outrageous.

Chris has done the board and Bayliss a favour here by agreeing to drop the complaint, it took a lot from Chris to rise above it. Now Bayliss/the BOD are trying to spin it that he made it up.

Lost pretty much all respect for Bayliss now.

Bayliss, I know you will read this and you are a [SwearFilter] liar.

You have now been elevated to Turnbull status and the sooner you and the people you have over a barrel are out of our club, the better.

Hideous man.

"The lad in question said it was lies and retracted the complaint."

Too far. As far as I'm aware Chris retracted his complaint because he didn't want his complaint to get in the way of the football and because he didn't want to cause hassle (even if it was deserved) when the club, board etc have their hands full.

Retracting a complaint because you don't wish to press it home is not even close to declaring/admitting that it was a lie.
