I'll be expecting a crowd of about 700 as obviously atherstone are alot of teams 2nd club due to them being there home town team. International weekend so alot of lads in town who would usually follow villa, wolves, blues etc etc will be coming down who will by the end thinking of yourselves 'god you follow that every week' and will feel sorry for the poor little barrow boys. The week after they'll be going back to actually watching big clubs while you my friends will still be watching barrow afc.

Lol.. Why would anyone want to watch Wolves?

That is one [SwearFilter] up post.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

I've been informed that this includes a bucket to sit on during the game, and a bag of pork scratchings at half time.

International weekend won't affect Wolves as they are too shit to be allowed a rest so you probably won't be there either. Maybe that is a good thing though, I imagine it will be very demoralising watching your plucky teams dreams of qualifying for the FA Cup for the first time since you formed in 2006 go up in smoke. I probably won't cheer for our last 6 or 7 goals because I will be sick of cheering.

If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

Ah well, at least if we go, we won't have to pay to watch such a one sided game. Nice easy walls to climb over.

I wonder if some of the locals will be sat on the roof of that house in the corner with a banner saying 'Athers for the cup'.

Will be happy to have a bet with ya wolves wont be playing and can collect on the day if you want. Our plucky teams ha ha, were both in the same boat you muppet. Ive been down the adders before when they've been involved in the 1st and 2nd round of the fa cup.
Do I expect you to beat us though, cause I do your 4 leagues above us.

I think I just about managed to decipher some of your post so...here goes:

1) I do not wish to bet with you but I will tell you that Wolves are away to Carlisle the day we 'play' you.

2) We are not in the same boat at all. Whilst you fluked your way past two other higher ranked pub teams we were either playing a league game or brushing aside some other turd that had floated into the 2QR toilet bowl. We had absolutely no reason to be plucky, whatsoever.

Fair enough but my point still stands. They were still too shit to be allowed a break initially and had to beg the FA for the day off.

The point is would Coalville realise blatant trolling and wind ups more then these Atherton Collieries lads seem to?
