ATHERSTONE JOE wrote:Coalville crew !!! You indeed we're told too stay well away. Tvac lads were in town from nunny and told you to stay clear as we had at least 200 A.l.f out looking for you ! The boro lad in concern even told you fair play to them (us the A.l.f) as it was one of the finest and organised turnouts he'd seen for a long time ! Now your welcome to come down to the snakepit and give barrow a helping hand if you so wish !!
No one tells me ot the Coolville crew to stay away from any football match especially some idiots fron Nunny.
200 ALF  you havnt even got 200 fans.

Myself Mad Harry and Big Mal were in stitches reading your comments, them 2 lads are 2 of the most battle scarred football fans in the clubs history, they've been to the likes of Biddulph Victoria, Boldmere St. Michaels and of course Romulus on cold Tuesday nights, these boys have seen it all.

I don't think they would be to concerned by these nutters

I remember that sonny, Woking were giving it large on the CEEFAX so we had to show them we had the biggest rosettes and loudest rattles. We met a few Wolves at Euston who were on their way to Wembley for the League Cup Final v Citeh, realising they were heavily outnumbered they joined in with the Barrow Barrow chant, as did most the British Rail staff, which was commendable.
Think the welding hoods and green goggles may have confused them. For one day the Barracalava squad.

Why not park up have a couple of beers and drive home 4 hours later? Are we really going to have to put up with your fantasies all weekend, now that school is nearly out ?

Not sure what your trying to say tbh. Ive been to hundreds of games and you go in any pub at 2 o clock in any city or town on matchday and the pubs are full. Your not telling me everyone in them pubs has walked or usee public transport.
Was only being helpful in the 1st place now this grief :)

If you look at majority of my posts I think you'll find I make a valid point with most.
Only reason I registered was after we were called scum and lived in a scummy place, do I think you'll beat us? Yes by 3 or 4 to be honest, is there any chance of an upset? Very very doubtful. Should be a good crowd there though and a decent atmosphere.
Is it my cup final likd some say? No as ive seen my team lift the cup but its international week so ill be doing one of my dozen or so trips down to sheepy road watching the local lads give 100% effort for no money at all. Quite refreshing in a way to watch and gets me away from the premiership circus.

OK, so you arent actually an Atherstone fan then, but a 2CW who watches them "when you can be arsed".

No mate not a true fan although obviously there my home town side so take a keen interest, 4-5 of me mates play for them to. I go home and away with the villa. Probably get to 12-15 games a season down the adders.

Your mates play for Atherstone? Did you get offered a game too? It really is an adventure into a field with all the proud parents and giddy little boys making up the core of the support.
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.

If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.
