hope the Barrow fans injured in the disgusting behaviour by these knobs are all ok with no serious injuries. stay safe boys and girls and beware of the clowns after the game. hope Lacey is ok, not the sort of thing subs should be subject to.

this was always going to happen. I can see Atherstone being out of pocket because of the morons. the police will charge as they had to be called in. the club could be fined heavily by the FA for failing to control the fans. :sentoff: :sentoff: :sentoff: :sentoff: :sentoff: :sentoff: :sentoff: :sentoff: :sentoff: :sentoff: :sentoff: :sentoff: :sentoff: :sentoff:
If you think that it's this forum that caused all this then you're deluded. Fans of Tamworth/Nuneaton etc said that Athershit were 'well up for this game' and looking to kick off to make a name for themselves long before the thread appeared on here. Hope everyone is ok.

Ps - Told you it'd be a [SwearFilter] easy game.

Leading 4-0 at HT, why not throw Mikey Thomson on and see how he copes!

Agreed. We may as well use all 3 subs. The game is won now, and it'd be good to give the others a run out.

that is not what I was saying my friend. yes it was always going to happen reading the comments by their clowns and those of the of other clubs fans intent on going to this game purely for agro.
if my comments did indicate your feelings then I can assure you they were not meant in that way.

Think they mentioned him shepherding a ball back into the area so he could pick it up. They thought it might give Atherstone ideas if he keeps coming out like that. He must be bored out of his mind to try things like that.

No one should be subjected to violence, whether it be at a football match or anywhere else. Totally unacceptable. Cowardly thugs!

Spoke to Chris at the game and about 20 of theirs broke down the segregation barrier while a load more ran across the pitch to get to the Barrow fans who they started attacking indiscriminately. Animals.

Presumably there will be plenty of smartphone videos this time to counter the bullshit?

Fair enough. Hope everybody is ok.

From the Barrow AFC Youth's twitter:

“@BarrowFFPC: U18 midfielder @mikey_thomson makes his 2nd appearance for the 1st team, coming on at the start of the 2nd half! @bbccumbriasport #barrowafc”

Here's hoping the lad does well!

Such a bad advertisement for football in general. Can't believe such [SwearFilter] idiots still do this kind of thing. [SwearFilter] hang every last one of them!

Can anyone confirm that all the fans are okay?
