Never been a big fan of Colin Murray.

'Fighting Talk' on R5L has to be one of the most boring and uninspiring programmes around.

Where is it - Brackley? Can't be bothered Googling - in the middle of something. Ta.

South Northamptonshire, between Buckingham (Bucks) and Banbury (Oxon). There is no operational railway station in Brackley.

If going by train then nearest and most accessible is Banbury which is a fairly decent place with some good pubs including a couple of Spoons. There is a regular bus service from there to Brackley.

Bizarrely one of the directors of Brackley is headmaster of my daughter's school. From talking to him previously they are a really friendly club who have done well recently and grown through the leagues.

Needless to say there should be no repeat of what happened on Saturday and in fact I think it would be good to see if we can generate some good publicity for the club out of this tie.

Id like to go to this one and I might be able to, never been to Brackley before.

Only... It is not far from Atherstone, same as Barrow to Lancaster. :?

From a Boston fan who went to Brackley on Saturday....

To make matters worse it'll be like a watered down version of the last round.

A brief summary of our experience Saturday:

* No segregation
* Around half a dozen stewards.
* A group of our fans take up residence behind 1 goal. Brackley fans stand right next to them (when there is room for them on either side of the stand where new terracing has been erected), complete with plastic glasses full of ale.
* Said Brackley fans giving our fans the [SwearFilter] signs and trying to stir up trouble. They then go fetch more beer.
* Brackley score, then throw beer all over our fans
* Stewards who have so far not been anywhere near escort a couple of Brackley fans away, but are on first name terms with them. I'm betting they didn't throw them out
* Complaints made to the stewards about the behaviour of their fans is met with them trying to blame our fans

So UCL standard ground and organisation. On the pitch they were much better than us due to (allegedly) the amount of money thrown at them so it's a very tough game for you. Altrincham fans here have had a similar experience of Brackley so not just an isolated incident. The sooner the money runs out and they go back to were they belong the better.

I've done my bit off to Hibs away with the mighty Aberdeen on that day :D

Rubbish, difficult draw.

The Aggro in the last round sounds like a once every 30 yrs event & with the national attention on this fixture as well as all the derserved bad PR Atherstone are getting im confident that Brackley will ensure nothing resembling the trouble from the previous round happens there.

Long way, bad draw, but winnable.

Terrible draw for us this one -

Quite easyish from Manchester on train to Banbury then bus - but priced out by expensive train journey 50 quid rip off
