Dear Barrow AFC Supporters
Warwickshire police have contacted me to ask if any fans have any further evidence/information of the actual incident when the Atherstone fans attacked the Barrow fans at the cup game last week.
Numerous arrests have already taken place with more to follow. As well as the photographic evidence they also require witnesses and or victims to be prepared to make statements to strengthen the case against these people. If you were there and are able to assist the police bring these perpetrators to justice then please contact D.C. Mick Duffy of the Warwickshire police on 07733001108.
Thank you for your assistance with this matter.

Re: Atherstone Witnesses Required
Cheers John,
I have had a really busy week at work so hadn't got around to making a statement of any sort yet other than what I passed on to Pete via mail. I rang Mick Duffy from work today and he is going to call me back at the weekend. He specifically requested that I pass on to anyone else to get in touch especially if you saw any direct assaults or any other inappropriate acts especially if you are able to offer any sort of description of anyone involved and/or can positively id anyone from the various media that has been posted.
From the discussion I had I don't think we have seen the end of the arrests and they are looking for anything from anyone that was there that adds to the evidence against certain individuals.
I have to say that when I speak to him on Sunday I will also strongly be making the point regarding Atherstone's negligence though I intend to also pass that on to the FA.

The man in charge of the FA investigation is Mike Fellows, Birmingham FA (Mike.Fellows@birminghamfa.com)
He made a prompt reply and gave an update as to where they were with the investigation.
