Barrowafc.com is just one of the vehicles that the club uses to keep us informed of events and news. Others include the local media (BBC, The Bay, NWEM), Facebook, Twitter, this website (Uncle Peter). All have been used this week.

I am happier with the club taking time to get the criteraia and the appointment right rather than picking a random name and approaching them.

I'm all for not rushing into a decision/panicking & appointing asap, but this process has dragged on for too long now. Shouldn't the BOD have sorted a "Role Profile for the new manager" before they advertised the position/approached various candidates?
The longer this uncertanty goes on, the less time the new man will have to pull the team out of the S***. It's only 4 weeks to Xmas & we're nearly half way through the season. It is imperative a new manager is appointed asap.

My thoughts exactly, it's not like it's crept up on us quickly, DB's departure had been on the cards for weeks if not months. We can't even sack someone properly for [SwearFilter] sake.

The state we're in at the moment, I'd be happy to trim some of the playing budget and put it towards the services of right man who the team would play for and respect.

Tues showed that some of them really look as though they can't be as*d.

they are mostly young and inexperienced and with all that`s gone on and the uncertainty surrounding the club i half expected this to happen that`s why a decision on a new manager is imperative or the performances will continue to be up and down,

look what happened to man utd when fergie said in `02 he was leaving and that`s at one of the biggest clubs in the world(please no comments!)

At the end of the Day it is still all about choosing the right man for the job. I honestly think that's what the board are trying to do and if it takes longer than some people expect it to so be it! Taking us forwards not backwards is what we all want. Whoever does come in its going to be a long journey back and we need as many people on board for the ride as possible, it's going to be a bumpy one though!! I think there are people on the (B o D) that are trying to inform us more than in the past Rome wasn't built in a day.
