FWIW Tony Keen was on RC this evening. Doesn't tell us anything we didn't know already. Starts at 7.58 http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p0 ... 6_12_2013/

Thanks Barrowfan,

TK used the words filling the right criteria more than once in the interview. I wonder what criteria they would have used!! :?

A few posters on here have mentioned a few names and stated they are good managers without a job! Says it all really they have had interviews for other positions and are still seeking work.if they are as good as you all believe then why are they still without work?

Good effort by Tony Keen making himself available for interview twice today when there was really nothing much he could say other than "I really can't say much."

I was heartened by the tantalising hints of a new emphasis on the club's position in the town and wider community and the development of stronger roots for further development.

This Edmondson fiasco has just gone too far. To keep the respect and support of their most valuable asset, us the fans this man has to be dropped from the plans and give Alex Meechan the job till the end of the season. The club is just being made a laughing stock, again, especially by our sheep shagging friends up the coast. The quality of the applicants has obviously been poor but that was to be expected for a club which is in freefall down the pyramid.

How exactly has it gone too far? There is obviously stuff to sort out, both with Edmondson himself and with Workington and thats bound to take bit of time. If we haven't had an announcement by Monday then I'll start to get concerned. Giving Meechan the job would be an absolute disaster, he's barely improved us since Bayliss left and was a large part of a failing management team while Bayliss was here. If Meechan got the job I'd seriously start to worry that we might go down.

Interesting post on the Wukkie website suggesting Ian McDonald as a replacement should Edmo join Barrow. IM lives in Barrow - wonder if the BOD considered him.

£24.000, so in theory we are arguing over 1/2pence. I know they are hard to come by as they went out of circulation some time ago, but please people check down the side of your sofa so that we can move on!! (other than than that pay the whole £25 and be done with it)
