Re: New Manager
Can your club not afford the 99p compensation reg?Reg wrote:We'll get em both, don't you worry about that.rockerlad workington wrote:I would be dissappointed if Skelton left, but let's face it you can't afford
Both of them, infact so far it looks like you can't afford edmo I mean you have had all day to agree compensation reg.

Re: New Manager
If the Board were clever I'm pretty sure they could get Edmondson for nothing following the statement from the Wukkie board members.

Re: New Manager
Do you mean the fact they say that his contract was not going to be renewed anyway?spongebobsquarepants wrote:If the Board were clever I'm pretty sure they could get Edmondson for nothing following the statement from the Wukkie board members.

Constructive dismissal by making his job untenable?

Not a bad idea that.ruins wrote:Sod it, give Barry Pos a run til the end of the season.
Re: New Manager
Would it not be possible that the deal with Workington and Edmo could fall through and the others (exc Meeks) wouldnt give a shite and realize the clubs on its arse with contracted players? Leaving us with a big problem finding someone to manage the Furness Building Society branch of the wacky warehouse?

Re: New Manager
I know December is not a good time for attendances anyway but I wonder if some of those who stayed away yesterday did so as a protest at the prospect of Edmondson being manager.

Re: New Manager
i will still go but i think it`s a combination of everything that`s gone on since the start of this season, honestly you couldn`t make it up ,again it`s all down to the board they just take us for a" bunch of mugs" and i think people are fed up and who can blame them it`s just like when Vaughn left us i honestly thought we had,"had it", i don`t think i am being melodramatic i think it`s really that bad.barrowfan wrote:I know December is not a good time for attendances anyway but I wonder if some of those who stayed away yesterday did so as a protest at the prospect of Edmondson being manager.

Correct.Andy wrote:Constructive dismissal by making his job untenable?
It is certainly something I would be looking into.

Re: New Manager
why do you not keep Meeks till end of season then get edmo for nothing after yesterdays performance we cant suffer this much more
Re: New Manager
I feel sorry for Meeks in all of this. Regardless of whether you think he should have got the job or not, he is now expected to manage the team knowing full well the board want somebody else. Until we have a new manager in place I cannot see us winning another game. The fact this has dragged on so long is worrying, we had no contingency in place for the sacking of bayliss other than let Meeks manage until we have a new manager, and we have somehow f'ed that up too. Lowest ever point in our history right now. Spineless, clueless and an embarrassment (and that's being generous).
I wanna take you to an Away Bar

Re: New Manager
Edmonson thought he had the job last week, can't see any reason why that should change unless Wukky are demanding stupid amounts of compensation
