Thanks very much Mike a very nice gesture & PMing the address will be fine.

Thats £205 in the roller fund, £45 to go.

For all those who said they want to donate but not by going through the account details, the BDF lads have very kindly offered to let us put a box in the BDF shop & the new shop by the pop side steps for you to just throw your loose change or notes into. Seriously, loose change will do as it'll add up & be doubled by Shane.

We'll make sure the boxes will be visable & labeled for the GMA/roller fund.

All money raised will only be used for the maintenance & up grading of the ground & it's facilities.

Ian,

I'll do you a deal.

Dodger's foreign notes can be swapped with the BDF Currency Service (I'll give you the sterling at whatever the exchange rate is for whatever foreign currency is donated on Saturday, not just from Dodger!!) and the foreign stuff can go with the rest of the foreign coins/notes we have collected to be sent to CoinCo.

Once again Stu, thanks very much - you've really helped us out a lot over the last year. I'll check with Rich how much your short & I'll come looking for you........& no hiding behind that Wintergreen fella :)
I might nip in to the Mithali for a take away on the way home!

Brilliant Rich, I'll pop in & see you sometime during the afternoon.

A very good opportunity for anyone wanting to get rid of their old foreign coins & help us out at the same time. Our collection box will only be in the shops for one weekend only (felt a bit cheeky asking the BDF for that favour but as usual they've been great) so please try & pop in & make a donation however small & in whatever currency.
How great would it be on Sunday to tell you we've smashed the roller collection AND put money in the main £ for £ account.

Don't know what was collected yesterday but I'll stick it on here when I find out.

£10 came off Gareth for the roller fund so that now looks like we've passed the £250 target so any more that comes in will go towards the spiker (think that's what it's called) that Gareth needs.

Some good news & bad on the donation front.

Good news - my mate Trants has donated £40 to this £ for £ offer of Shanes & £10 to the signed print of Steve Leonards, so £40 becomes £80.

Bad news - four of us play a snooker competition over a year which we add a couple of quid to the kitty each time we go out - me & my partner have been hammered, so basically that was my money before our final game on Saturday night

Very nice donation & offer anyway :D

Can anyone who has pledged money to the GMA account that hasn't paid please get in touch with me through PM & we'll arrange a time/place for you to pay.

It's important that we get the money in the account as proof for Shane to double it up.

Thank you.

Is this offer from Shane on till the end of the football season ...double your money Ian???
If so it represents a tremendous opportunity to secure funding for upgrades on the ground for a few years to come

The original offer is on till the end of the season (on top of the 2k he gave to sponsor the GMV's) His other offer to double the £250 was just to help us pay for the roller so we wouldn't be paying out one large sum.

So, yes, it's a great opportunity (again) to put some decent funding in the kitty.

I went to pay the GMV's £50 for the WC floodlight fundraiser yesterday in the BDF shop & Rich was putting £20 in the tin that we'd left there last week off an anon donator, if your reading this (I assume your a forum reader or you wouldn't have known about the collection) - thank you.

Dodger had left all his foreign currency for Rich to cash in for us aswell which was to go to the roller fund.

A man called Dave Garnett won £50 on the raffle last week & he also donated that to the £ for £ fund, thanks Dave.

£70 (+ foreign currency) all doubled & added to our kitty.

Dodgers foreign currency donation worked out at £29.63. Thanks Stu.

We haven't opened the donation tins yet but I'll let you know what the final amount is in the New Year (just in case anyone wants to throw anything else in ;) )

Seriously, thank you everyone who has donated to our appeals from people like Shane, Exile, the NSC, the betting thread lads & some of the bigger single donations from people like Gareth, Eric Picton from Australia & dozens upon dozens of other supporters as without all this money that has been given (must be 14k now) we would only have been able to do small jobs around the ground & just general tidying up.
