Very strange & flat way to hand over that fourteen match unbeaten run! TBH we've been no where near as solid since Duran's been out, we were lucky against Colwyn Bay, two down against Stockport & poor today. Edmo now has to see whats in this team & make them bounce back next week.

Regarding the att, surely that was well above 1,000.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Cribley was the most frustrating for me today. I like the fact that he takes a man on with fancy stuff rather than give a sideways ball, but sometimes passing is the better option. He lost the ball numerous times, and in one instance nearly cost us a second goal, if it wasn't for a demonstration of how not to finish by their centre forward.
Popular side since '03.

I think the problem is our team is set up to counter attack and when we meet teams that just sit back we lack the knowhow to break them down, but in a strange way it will help because edmo will now start to learn who goes/stays anyway forum here we come!

Off the pace today, ball in air too much,no width which played right into Worcester centre backs strengths, good in air poor on deck.
Their long throws caused us lot problems and don't understand why we didn't put someone directly in front of thrower to at least obscure his view and target.
re attendance agree with spirit I thought over 1000.
Hopefully bounce back :scarf:

Sides are now coming with a different approach than when we were whipping boys. Consequently we now have to start learning to adapt and start to play with a bit more guile than relying on the counter attack.

Head DE say after in the club he was disappointed and we never moved the ball well enough. Thought we also were out thought at times by some more experienced players who milked every opportunity etc.

Hopefully part of the next stage of development for both players and management. Glimpses of what we can do, but just not good enough today.

Onwards and upwards

Has been a great run from rock bottom and with some good displays, had to end sometime!

Only grumble from me today was our repeated insistence on playing short throw in's to feet when inline with the Worcester area. We failed repeatedly to get the ball in the box from these throw- ins. Then what happens other end- Worcester throw from a similar position, no messing about- straight into the box- we couldn't deal with it- and they score.!
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

Cribbley could be a real player for us. Like somebody earlier on said, he tries too much when the easy pass is on he did it at Stockport when we had one of our final attacks could have played an easy ball but instead tried fancy stuff and cocked it up. If he gets his head right and up! We could have a player.

We got a case of the hiccups today, try as hard as you may they don't go away, but they don't last forever and we live to fight another day!
