Re: AGM/EGM for PC's bid
The three voters in our house have all agreed with the motion. Aye, aye and aye.
Re: AGM/EGM for PC's bid
And it's a YES from me, plus another from my mate who doesn't have a PC.
Guessing that the 75%+ will be reached by people who've voted but not overall.

Re: AGM/EGM for PC's bid
May seem a daft question but i wonder how easy was he to get hold of if you didnt already have a contact mate? Well done for doing so BTW.mickmike wilson wrote:I have had a few people contact me asking what, if anything, I know of PC and would I reach out & ask him a few few things if he agreed to take the call so basically I did & I've just got off the phone with him now.
I asked him several questions & we talked at length on his ambitions and idea's for the club, he struck me as honest and forthright & wants the best for the club all round, he was positive and he has people in place with good up to date knowledge of the Non League scene having been involved in it, should the takeover be voted in.
I am not a member anymore (for my own personal reasons) but if I was then I would 100% vote him in & am posting this just to let any folk who are undecided know that he is open to talk if you feel the need.
I hope the 75% is achievable :flag:
Maybe just to gauge his approach-ability out of curiosity. (sounds a good song that)
I hope he would be approachable if the takeover happens.
Im a non member and i have no reasons apart from i never really thought i could make a difference, if i were i would say yes, i say a big thanks to the Keens and every member of the board since the Vaughn era / disaster. I hope we keep a certain member of the board in Pete G and move forward. No offence to any other current board members im sure they all have the values a club needs but a merge like this needs a person like Pete to liaise with the fans, hes done well. Pete sorry if ive popped you on a pedestal
I see little risk in voting yes.

Agree 100 % about Pete. He's always been open with fans and never ignores them.ruins wrote: No offence to any other current board members im sure they all have the values a club needs but a merge like this needs a person like Pete to liaise with the fans, hes done well. Re: AGM/EGM for PC's bid
After giving up on waiting for the post to deliver my letter I emailed Ste Leonard and he sent me the forms by email.
Vote sent off with a big tick in the for box.

Apologies for me also going off topic, but the team missing from your little rhyme was Goole Town on the FA Cup. I seem to remember we won 2-3 but I might be wrong. I do remember the journey, it was a might mare, it's a long way to travel three people crammed into the back of a Ford Anglia

Can anyone remind me when the voting closes and when we'll know the outcome?

Cheers Kie, easy enough to remember that date now, the old man's birthday.

You could buy him a Barrow AFC Membership as a present. It might be a fairly short-lived gift, though!DaveC wrote:Cheers Kie, easy enough to remember that date now, the old man's birthday.
Re: AGM/EGM for PC's bid
Just renewed online, and email requesting voting form sent to Steve. I'll be choosing yes.
EDIT: ....in spirit for this one, and if any future vote needed.
