Maintenance Group – we need a Swingometer affixed to the exterior wall of the stadium so we can all keep tabs on how the vote is going. You’ve got the cash, time on your hands and will do anything to get out of the house so how about it?

Get the clapometer out at HT to judge the current vote.

Many thanks to Mr Keen for saving the club and steering us through the muddy waters when we needed a strong captain on board.

mrssenorita is the only swinger in our group WG, I'll see what he can do.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

It had better swing in the 'yes' direction or I won't ever be going back. I can't stand to see the club that I love sliding into the abyss.
I don't belieeeeeeeve it!

Sorry, I dont get people who say "if this doesn't happen I won't be back "

Can't you see that all that will do Is speed the club's slide?

Roll on Thursday, then the hard work can start in earnest either way

Sorry Peter but if the members don't grasp this once in a lifetime opportunity, then I don't wish to witness the slow death of Barrow AFC. It is my right to vote with my feet.

To be honest the club would be better without fans with that sort of attitude.

Shocking comment you support the club because its your team not who runs it FFS.

"Love" is sticking with someone/thing to the very end however painful it might be.
It all comes 'round again.

I would never go so far as to say I would never support the club again. However I would temper that by saying that if we don't get a yes vote we may well be looking at another mediocre mid-table-at-best scenario.Next season is going to be competitive. From this term we'll have the three play-off losers (could include Alty/Ferriby). Stockport must have reached the end of their slide and with their fanbase must surely kick on.Worcester have a new ground on the horizon and like us came from a hopeless Xmas position to mid-table comfort.Throw into the mix the newcomers. Chester,Hyde,Tamworth,Chorley and FCUM/Fylde all will carry a threat at best.We will not only be competing on the field with these clubs but probably chasing the same small pool of quality available players. That is why we need the extra few bob that PC will bring.I'll have fingers and everything else crossed on Wed/Thur.

Lets see what happens, maybe I'm being a bit hasty but I've been supporting this club for over 50 years, I just don't fancy coming down and supporting a club that may give up the opportunity to grasp the chance of a lifetime. I might feel a bit different after the vote. :scarf:

Quite a few people have said the exact same thing to me – that they won’t be coming back if it’s a ‘NO’. Yet when the club wouldn’t go for the proposal to have the stadium redeveloped with a business partner nobody seemed that bothered. Both instances would be examples of turning down sizeable investment for reasons unclear. However we are at the dawn of a new era and lets hope its a YES and that we can all rally round that Blue flag again.

Worry not - I have it on very good authority that it's a resounding YES, and it's over 75%.

I don't believe there is the slightest chance of a "No" vote but it's possible that not 75% will vote. In that case, there will be a quickly arranged alternative meeting where the "Yes" vote will be confirmed.
