Bluebirds Trust open meeting

Post by Uncle Peter » Mon May 12, 2014 9:39 pm

Friday June 6th - 7pm

Venue - The Cross Bar

You are invited to the open meeting which will lay the foundations for a strong supporters trust at Barrow AFC. Present will be the Steering Group, a senior representative from Supporters Direct along with board members from other trusts who will be able to give more details on how trusts work in practice.

Come along, grab a seat and find out more about the Trust, its people, and how we aim to represent fans as the club moves into a new era. This meeting is absolutely key to the future success of the Bluebirds Trust, please try and attend if you can,

If you have any questions you would like us to answer, and can't make it in person, you can email them to info@bluebirdstrust.co.uk and they will be included at the meeting.

Please post below if you are coming, so we can gauge numbers.

Busy that afternoon Pete which could easily run into the evening so I'll probably struggle - if I can make it though, I'll be there.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Further bump.

The meeting is this Friday 6th June in the Crossbar starting at 7pm.

Friday's meeting will be attended by Jacqui Forster from Supporters Direct, and representatives from FC United of Manchester and Stockport. They will explain a bit about SD and the work they do, and then what being part of a Supporters Trust means and how they operate. There will also be a question and answer session.

We would ask that anyone with even a passing interest in what we are doing, joins us and registers on the Bluebirds Trust website http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/bluebirdstrust/

The greater the numbers we have the better the level of support we can show Supporters Direct that the fans of Barrow AFC want a Trust and will support it.

There is already an FAQ section on the website but if you have anything else you would like to ask us, come along on Friday or email info@bluebirdstrust.co.uk
