Can anyone tell me if Students are included in concession gate price or do we not have a reduced price for them any more, as my son attended the Hyde game today & had to pay full adult price. Maybe a question for Peter ??

I always ask for a student when I go to the office under the Xbar, it's £10, no problems at all. Just ensure student ID is brought incase proof is required.

Someone I Know shows her NUS card and gets in for a tenner, and still makes her aging, full paying father buy the half time brews

Pete, presumably, my son can get £3 refund back if he takes his ticket stub back with his student union card ??

Don't think he should get a refund, did he have a student card with him? Just next time makes sure he says so.

One point some students I know were getting in yesterday for a fiver and some a tenner. Seems the desk didn't know what to charge.

Yes he did show his student card, he asked if concessions included students, but the turnstile operator wasn't sure/didn't know so he said he'd have to pay full price.

The people on the turnstiles need to be educated on who's covered under what charges before they commence their duties !!!

Cut them a bit of slack, we have recruited a fair few new operators and it will take time for them to get up to speed.

The main thing is we now have a decent pool of staff to ensure that everyone gets into the ground with little delay.
