Sounds like Barrow bossed the game but goals make prizes. lost 2-1. Not concerned at all though, we will murder lots of teams this season.

Frustrating isn't the word, really don't think I've ever seen us dominate a game so much yet we still got beat. Needed to score first half when we were so much on top it was embarrassing. Also had what from our end looked like a blatant penalty turned down two minutes from time.

Still trying to work out how we lost the game, all I can say for them is they defended well when they put 11 men behind the ball which is something we're going to have to learn to overcome. Duran Reynolds played centre mid and had probably the worst game I've seen him have.

Couldn't make the game today (three hour flight away ) but on
the whole that didn't sound too bad for a team that still has
To find it's feet in a competitive game.
To lose against a decent team with a pretty new squad like we did
Isn't the end of the world...by the sound of it we did ok & against
a lesser team we probably would've won by two or three goals.
I think Boston will be glad they got us early on.

Disappointing result but not unexpected and it's only the first game.

The lads have still to gel and I'm sure they will.

As favourites our opposition will always be trying that little bit harder so no game is going to be that easy.

Said on radio it was a bit of a dive with minimal contact and could have been booked for it. Said he should have pushed on and taken his chance.

Disappointing to have dominated and come away with nothing when the opposition has scored 2 with so few chances, McMillan by the sounds of it had very little to do all game. At least the 1st defeat is out of the way. No pressure , now go and win.

We had lots of chances first half with Cook hitting the bar being one of many then they got a deflected goal to be undeservedly 1 down at HT. Disappointing 2nd half with them scoring but we came back and hit the bar again but ultimately we didn't take our chances. The pen appeal wasn't a pen seemingly.
So frustrating that they had so few chances and won. We will play worse and win and although we lost am still not too downhearted about our prospects for the season.

If there is one disappointment it was the midfield, too weak in there and Crowther didn't do it for me. Sheridan should've started.
