tidds why was the main reason (i take it was the main reason anyway as this was mentioned first and foremost ) given the races then ? Either way i need to be Kent Clark whatever his name is Superman

Nothing to do with the races - horses aren't interested in football. :lol: (Apart from that one at the 1923 Cup Final.)

Seen a few cart-horses in my time...


including that clown a few seasons back who warmed down by "galloping" around the pitch, trying to wind up the fans (Help me out on this one Mr Herbert?)
