The first one that springs to mind is he is the owner's son

Just remember that his father's qualifications and experience of running an english non-league football club were hovering just about zero 3 months ago
We're all supporters on here. Let's leave the negative comments to the away fans

Dont think we need to pick holes in this one.
Like mentioned, we know why he will have got the job, leave him to it. Cant be any worse than previous, and is going to be better than nothing which is what we are used to.

Good luck to the guy.

Exactly that it's not as if he's running man utd! And the good thing is he will learn and if mistakes are made we won't go under!

I think it's embarrassing some people are questioning this. He's the owners Son so PC will do whatever he wants and his lad just so happens to have a degree in business. Oh and the fact we don't have one makes it a no brainer.

Give the lad a chance before having a go its nice his sons will have a more proactive interest in Barrow.

Questions can be asked in a few years if things havent worked out.

Great move IMO.

Not only because of the skills he will bring to the club in the role in which he has been employed but he is also the eyes and ears of his dad which should keep everyone on their toes.

I might be missing something but I can't see where anyone is questioning or having a go about this!

Don't quite think this is 'having go' just a simple question of what his qualifications are, a question that surely went through everyone's mind when we read it.

A great way of giving his son some experience under his own watchful eye, a logical and good appointment in my opinion.

The only conceivable question, given the business background, would be how would he gain local knowledge quickly. But that's hardly insurmountable.

Also, he can't be responsible for any previous errors etc.

And even if I was virulently opposed, we can comment all we like (and will) but it aint up to us anymore ;)

Aii that'll be the only initial question mark really, this area is very much about who you know as much as what you know.
