A great job on the Cross Bar, a remarkable transformation in a short space of time and credit to all those involved, a job well done!

Wow, what a difference the refurbishment has made. It was like walking into the sunshine. Bright and welcoming with the changes making the room look much bigger. Nice furniture and the carpet is in tile form so that any spillages can be lifted and replaced.
The John Duffin pictures add a nice touch as he is still a local Barrow lad even though he has done well and moved away.
The Barrow shirts of yesteryear displayed in the other half of the room show the heritage of the club.

I think a lot of thought has gone into the refurbishment and in particular Thelma, Jamie's partner, has worked miracles in such a short time with the interior designing.
The management doing the meet and greet to make sure everyone was made welcome from the young kids upwards. Paul Casson was deluged by small kids wanting his autograph and he made time for each and every one.
Well done. It was a great atmosphere in the clubhouse today---long may it continue. We are lucky to have these people in charge of the club. I had a double Bailey's.

Bit gutted with afew comments off one or two folk
as we had two weeks in which to do a huge amount of work
we know some walls needed skiming but it came down to
time. There was still finishing touches been done at 8am
And what was done by the team in the time space was and is
a belting space for all to enjoy. Was bit gutted I didn't get to meet
and thank Thelma as she's the one who's design this was !

Looked very good, John Duffin prints and shirts an excellent shout.

Club was full of kids enjoying themselves and it was a good laugh in corporate for the Stu Nipps birthday weekend celebrations.
