What is it with us? It doesn't seem to matter who the manager is or who the players are, we have this historical habit of not being able to kill teams off when on top and losing to team's others beat for fun. Unless these change we won't win anything.

Absolutely spot on, we do it every season.

We will not win the league if we can't put teams like BPA away, we've stuttered over the winning line a few times already this season and that has to be a cause for concern. Supporters have noticed that we struggle at times when perhaps we shouldn't be so it's not like the management should be surprised that this sort of result was just around the corner.

Are we still missing that good ball winning midfielder that can help the defence out? because on paper we should be
keeping clean sheet after clean sheet with our back four. I think sorting that position will be the difference between us pushing to win this league or settling for a play-off position.

Just heard Edmo on the radio saying maybe we should be closing out games like this, as a point might have been good enough come the end of the season, maybe! But ultimately we should be beating sides of the calibre of Bradford P A even away from home, our goals against column is not good. I don't think we have that link between defence and midfield and time and time again that is our undoing. We are bringing in players but midfield needs addressing if we are to progress.
Maybe we are all expecting too much too soon, but we are not that far off a decent side, Just not all pulling in the same direction yet! We are playing with the worries of the world on our shoulders. Let's get back to the way we played when Edmo first arrived with expression, passion and enjoyment playing with a smile on our faces. Because it has become all far too serious!!

Poor, but should have got a point. Summed up by two Bradford fans:
Thought Barrow would be better than that, but we were lucky to win.

Performance was better second half and Bradford scored against the run of play. Gorman was a revelation when he came on, must start next week!

Because Edmo must obviously see something in Lacey that nobody else does.
Sheridan, ARH & maybe Cowps in there as well would be a strong enough midfield to boss most games. As I've said for 2 seasons now - Lacey isn't good enough for this level of football.

Edmo needs to get a settled side and soon before all the good work is undone patience wont be long when we have a team and squad on paper good enough to win this league.

My concerns at present are:

1. Midfield from day one is FAR to weak
2. Defensively we look woeful and have very few clean sheets so far this season
3. After starting off on fire Cook looks tired and was frankly shocking today(maybe time for a rest)
4. Walker doesn't look like he's gonna get many from open play.
5. Edmo does STILL not know his strongest 11, rotation is [SwearFilter] consistency is key
6. McMillan beaten at his near post AGAIN raises concern cost us a point today
7. We're not the threat going forward we were at the start of season.
8. Some weren't up for the fight today and that's my biggest worry!!!!!

Yeah we've only lost 2 so far but performances of late have set alarm bells ringing in my head!!! Waste of time and money today. Chips were nice mind. Grounds with running tracks are mince.

I think Fylde are going to romp it. +25 gd. What frustrates me is that we now sit behind Chorley who we took apart 4-0 without getting out of second gear.

The team has not been chopped and changed that much. We need strength in depth over the season and we need to make the adjustments- some of them enforced. Are we saying that we haven't got that strength outside a very specific starting 11?
