As the norm across the whole of the sporting world is to state the hosts first then 2-1 means we won, unless you mean the score was 1-2
We're all supporters on here. Let's leave the negative comments to the away fans

The game was placed numerous times on our Facebook account and also on our Twitter feed. The Evening Mail advertised the game in the paper, website and on their Twitter feed too. We must remember that many of the fans that supported us last year may have had work or other commitments during half-term. Thanks for your attendance today Holkerbird.

I enjoyed it, feisty encounter with a few flare ups and a couple of sendings off. We had much the better of the second half especially after their number 10, who was controlling it all, got himself sent off.

They were technically a wee bit better I thought but we dug in.I thought our number 2 was our best player.

Sun shone, nice to see folk, what's not to like?

Only if it's laid out as a fixture: Us 1 - 2 Them or Us 1 - Them 2, not how it is spoken unless you are the only person in the world who would say "we lost 1 2."
Or if it was American sport where all fixtures are stated as Them @ Us.

Can't help thinking it would have been better if we'd drawn 1-1. ;)
