Re: Barrow v Boston United Match Thread
Anyone else get the feeling that last gasp penalty probably saved Edmo his job?

Yes. Nine straight league wins then a draw against a good footballing side is clearly not what is needed.Leo wrote:Anyone else get the feeling that last gasp penalty probably saved Edmo his job?

He looks to me like a lad who has lost a lot of confidence. he show's glimpses but at the moment his decision isn't the best. I think Edmo seems something in him, perhaps he's a lad that he believes he can work with and make a player out of. He probably thought he'd be a good bit part squad member to start with, but with Plks injuries and reid being a bit hot and cold has probably meant him being used more than he would have liked??barrowaberdeen wrote:I must be watching it wrong I swear, I think the fact he has some caps has knocked you all bandyJameston1 wrote:I have to say that I think Gorman had the best spells yesterday in a Barrow shirt, some of his balls and tenacity was outstanding

It'll be interesting to watch and see if he can show more self belief ...

If he's reading this he won't, this place is not a good place to visit for a "pat on the back", a knife in the back yes!Big E wrote:He looks to me like a lad who has lost a lot of confidence. he show's glimpses but at the moment his decision isn't the best. A draw yesterday would have made it 3 wins in 8 games. I was speaking to unnamed forum poster on Friday night, and here is a direct quote from him:Steelworks End wrote:Yes. I would imagine that if we won every remaining match six goals to nil, then someone on here would call for DE to be sacked, on the basis that PC said someone is going to get an 8 nil drubbing
