It's on the conference website that Danny Rowe has signed for Macclesfield from AFC Fylde.

I know when he played for us he was a lazy begger but on Boxing Day he was their MOM.

Could be better than a new signing today for us.

Up the Bluebirds.

No, there is(was) only 1 at Fylde.

The Conference news story is indeed talking about the Danny Rowe that got man of the match against us on Boxing Day and played so poorly for us in the conference national. It is also confirmed on the Macclesfield website but not on Fylde's site.

He had a decent game against us but didn't deserve MOTM, there were some far better performances on the day. He was constantly getting wind-ups from the Barrow support for being such a poor player, kind of gave the impression it was MOTM was given as a wind-up in return. He got a silly booking for arguing with the ref seconds after his man of the match award was announced.

Unless they have another big target man to hold up the ball, they might suffer a bit today.

EDIT: Erm, I'm having second thoughts. There is only 1 Danny Rowe listed at Fylde but even the Macc fans seem confused as to who it is.

I agree "a few goals". If he hadn't have been so lazy and made an effort he should have scored many.

He was dreadful most of the time. I was going a lot more than now at this point and away especially he was clueless. Didn't run, didn't try, wasn't his nickname 'Planet' or something here because he was on another one all the time? Nearly always made the wrong decision- I get annoyed just thinking about him.

Don't know exactly how many he scored but I have a feeling it was two, possibly three......two of those were from free-kicks where the only effort involved was running three yards & swinging a leg.

How ironic that the man who we said couldn't jump managed to do just that and score against us. Let's face it they did a job on us, twice, Now lets move on!
