And he only had one packet of pork scratchings in the pub, impressive.

I was going well, Alpen, soup, soup today but then blew it with a pleasant bottle of red.

The craving for crisps in the shop was like crack cocaine :(

Please sponsor me, I am in hell. (well actually West Cumbria but it's a 'baw hair' away as they would say back home)

Steve - Walkers Pops, Quavers, Velvet Crunch, Ringos, French fries, Skips etc are all crisps less than 100 cals a bag. Try them. They might help the craving.

I'll pledge one pound sterling for every one pound weight lost by the contestants, up to an overall total of five stones for the three.

Update so far:

Pete has lost 8 pounds
Stu has lost 5 pounds
I have lost 3 pounds

Well done Pete and Stu, looks like the Saturday off watching Aberdeen stay top of the league took its toll on me. Less carbs and no bevvy at all next week!

In a week. You all chopped limbs off?
This means I owe stu 5 pints.

I've walked about 10 miles, no drink outside yesterday, changed diet (but not too extreme). Stu cut out beer and did some other stuff, Pete's right into MyFitnessPal and has joined a gym I think.

Fair to say that Pete's taking it a bit more serious Steve
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Well now, that's just unsporting.

6 pounds off this week, down to18 stone dead. Delighted with that considering the weather's held some walking back and I've not been that well. No white bread, no processed meat, no cheese, no crisps, no beer except Saturday. It's working.

5 off for me this week, down to 16 stone 5 which is nearly a stone off!

Feel much better for it, and the gym has had a really positive effect on not only my body but mentally to. It's a great way of burning off the stress!
