Been offered a new contract by Wrexham. Time to look elsewhere.

Never realistically expected him to be here next season.

He was one of the better players but IF the takeover happens then im confident that we will replace him with a better quality player.
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.

If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

Yep, certainly did more than his fair share to pull us through the sticky patch,

Good luck for the future Nick.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Same here, but equally I didn't expect him to stay at Wrexham given the new manager had already said he needs to 'bulk-up' and 'develop an edge' to survive in the Prem. I would add that he will need to grow a thick skin to appease the fickle and demanding Racecourse fans.

A new contract offer also means if anyone wants to sign him they will have to pay Wrexham compensation even if he does not sign. A good bit of good business on their part if Edmo really wants to sign him on again for next season. Win win for Wrexham, if someone does come in for him they get some cash, if they don't they have decent young player that has gained some vital experience on loan.

Be disappointed if we didn't try and loan him again if he was available, we are desperately short of options in attack

If he was out there waiting for a call and we missed the opportunity, I would be very disappointed as would a lot more Barrow supporters.

Just as well he signed for Hednesford today and not last week or Tuesdays result may have been a lot different.

Just the player we need, and yet he's gone to hednesford! Edmo must have a better player lined up then? ....

Would have been just what we needed to give competition for cook and Walker until Wilson is back mid feb.

we must have someone lined up because we cannot keep carrying on with just 2 strikers i`m not including ellison because he`s obviously not a striker,

if we have someone lined up i hope he`s of a decent standard and not someone who is not wanted by a team bottom of the conference we need someone of quality even if that means a fee!,because (and i hope this doesn`t happen)ant wilson rehab takes longer than mid february because when he eventually does come back he will not be match fit,in all honesty i think it`s pathetic we have taken so long to get a replacement!

Very disappointed that a player whose undoubted abilities are known to us has been allowed to slip through our fingers and join a club who frankly have little to play for for the rest of this season. I hope I'm wrong but I'm beginning to think that Edmo is ignoring the January window and hoping to get all his injured players back with us still in a challenging position. Either a brave or a foolhardy strategy. Only time will tell.
