Re: Kick off time for Chorley
When I heard mentions of moving the kick off time I was hoping it would be too an evening kick off for those of us at work.....never even considered a non league game kicking off at lunchtime on police advice

Erm, a few good reasons would be good. History? What history do we have with Chorley?Richard Ingham wrote:Localish game, bank holiday, history with the opposition, how many more reasons do you want?

Re: Kick off time for Chorley
I was thinking that. Iirc we were stopped from going into their clubhouse in 94(ish) but that hardly counts as a white hot rivalry.
Re: Kick off time for Chorley
You need to pay into the ground before going into the bar, it puts a lot of fans off. Many fine pubs nearby I can sort out and if all else fails come to mine and get [SwearFilter]! 300 yards to the ground!Lancaster Branch wrote:I was thinking that. The local rivalry is surely the geographical side and Chorley fans are bigging this up! Problems will come no doubt from inept and poor stewardship at Chorley, they couldn't handle fc or Chester so for us to come is what they will consider local, history or not. I promise the stewards will be an arse.
Oh and be careful as the CDS may get you!!! (Chorley death squad)
You can find many of them outside bargain booze at 8am
I can't wait! :UB:

Has this not been announced yet? WTF is the delay? Plenty of supporters, including us, have plans to make around this game. The fixture was announced last July, for crying out loud.

Would presume its just going ahead at three as no official announcement has been made.Cubbins Paratrooper wrote:Has this not been announced yet? WTF is the delay? Plenty of supporters, including us, have plans to make around this game. The fixture was announced last July, for crying out loud.
I wanna take you to an Away Bar
Re: Kick off time for Chorley
Think the Club should move on this. Chorley are being a wee bit immature as well. If they [Chorley] want a bumper crowd then all this needs to be sorted quickly.

Well done, Hadrian and thank-you. Could've sworn the kick-off time was not showing on the Chorley site a few days back though my memory may have been distorted by the 'TBA' showing on our own Forum's fixture list. At least we can hit the M1 at a sensible time on the morning of the game on this basis.

It's going to be fun on the Rail Replacement Bus Service between Preston and Chorley and vice-versa. An empty bottle may prove to be a useful implement for some.Jameston1 wrote:What time trains are people getting for the chorley game?
