Im not trying to grass people in or anything like that here, im speaking purely as a fan.

I have been out in Ulverston with friends for a couple of drinks tonight and was shocked to see Darren and Alex out in town.. Drunk!

Given the point of the season we are at and I appreciate that they are not playing but still think this is not acceptable from a Manager and Assistant who are fighting for a title... The night before a game.

Good on em..they aren't actually playing and Ulverston is probably a more sensible choice to get bevvied than Barrow before a game. Wish I'd known, however I was on my own descent into depravity in the fine alehouse of Dalton and missed both Ulverston and the Ambrose.

Exactly right,that's what pointless threads such as this can lead to.One persons view of a situation can be totally different to anothers ,its like taking a photograph,it doesn't really represent the true picture-circumstance of that point in time, people will interpret situations differently giving fodder to the people who take any opportunity to have a go at the club .IMO,for that reason this thread should be deleted now,all it takes is a couple of slip up,s on the pitch (god forbid) and the witch hunters will be out in force,because I'll tell you now,there will be people out who cant wait for us to fall on our arse.

Haha, I saw them in Theatre Bar around 2am (at a guess), and they seemed fine.
Nobody ever brought up the fact that Daz and Dave were absolutely shitfaced on Friday nights before plenty of home games - that was at the height of their success. If a bit of a hangover has an impact on your job, only then it's a problem. This seems like it was posted by one of them people that likes to take offence to anything just to pretend they've got the moral high-ground.

All a bit of a misunderstanding apparently.

OP had a bit of a skinful in Ulverston (it's the sort of place that drives folk to drink) and was found by his mates berating the statue outside the Coro, saying that they should be home in bed as they had a big game the next day. Put in the back of the car by the designated driver and to shut him up on the way home they gave him a child's toy steering wheel and told him to concentrate on the road. Woke up this morning angry with the world and had the haziest of recollections of preceding night.

What a sad sad man you are Jameston I to was out on Friday speaking to them both in the wine bar and they were not even drunk they are top blokes and it was nice to see them out socialising in the local community

I still stand by my original comments that Edmo is not the right man for the job by the way, I think his management, team selection and team formations are sometimes woefully inadequate and baffling. How can you leave our main goalscorer on the bench until 20 minutes from time when we are 0-0 and not had a shot on target? Baffles me.
