Sums the whole season up I think. We weren't brilliant and it took a bit of individual brilliance to win the game.

Stockport were atrocious, probably the worst team I've seen at Holker Street all season. I can't see how they were in the playoff hunt at some stages judging by that performance.

Hopefully Wilson just suffered an impact injury and nothing further.

I disagree, Marty, Stockport were bad but off the top of my head I can think of Colwyn Bay (my personal vote for worst to visit), Hyde, Gainsborough and Brackley who were all worse. Stockport offered no threat and were nowhere near as physical as BPA last week and I do think we could have put more into them but at this stage I'd take scrappy 1-0 wins until the end.

yes agreed stockport were awful, though mcmillan gave us some entertainment with his first half goal kicking we had to battle and we did,got the three points,thats what was required,well done to the players and management !

Those saying Taylor doesn't instill confidence - MacMillan was all over the show. Nearly got caught out a couple of times. Should be dropped as soon as Taylor's fit again.

Some poor performances from some Barrow players, and definitely a clear out on the cards if we go up. Still, a reasonably enjoyable afternoon.

A tad harsh on Tony Mac there. His save to keep us at 1-0 could turn out to be as important as any goal scored at the other end. This after having very little to do other than sweep up until that point.

Yes it was probably a contender for goal of the season, but Sheridan was my man of the match - heads & shoulders above everyone else. He was all over the pitch working his socks off, breaking up play etc. Probably cemented his place in midfield now until end of season ??

Outstanding goal from Howarth in a game that saw few clear chances. Stockport rarely threatened but huffed and puffed a lot. Barrow had the lion share of the game and apart from a few moments were in control. Stockport came to life after Barrow scored, then Barriw did their usual shut up shop and keep them out. They managed to fashion a few moments before the end but unable to capitalise on slack Stockport play to extend the lead.

A silly back heel and sequence of missed tackles and clearances resulting in a free kick on the edge of the area the only real threat Stockport had in the 1st. At 1-0 a through ball, saved by McMillan and follow up block by Grand and Livsey sending it for a corner the only real chance Stockport had and what a chance.

Had to laugh when the Stockport player started to push Reid off the pitch when he was subbed at 1-0. Yes he was taking his time but given the time wasting all the way up to the goal, a bit of their own medicine doesn't hurt. Miraculous how a lot of these time wasting sides come to life when they go a goal down and we have seen these tactics a lot this season. Credit to Stockport they gave it a go but in the end but missing some of the players they had earlier in the season they looked like the depleted side they are.

Edmo assessed Wilson as unlikely to play against Chorley but probably available for Brackley. Tweaked the injury that has kept him out for most of the season.

11 points to win the title (10 if we score lots of goals ).
