Don't know if they are any good but there's some great sounding names there. Archibald-Henville would take some putting onto the back of a shirt.

Is there a best place to see released or unattached players?

Not sure that cast-offs from what seems to have been a very poor Carlisle outfit this year would be aspirational signings for us though no doubt some who aren't acclaimed at one club might impress more in the different circumstances of another.

Amoo has scored a few for them, and Gillies was highly rated at Gateshead, playing for England C and finishing their top scorer from midfield one season. Only other ones I've seen are Meppen-Walter (questionable attitude), Beck (awful) and Griffith (was rubbish for Harrogate earlier this season against Barrow in his only game for the club! Seem to think he was hooked at half-time).

Is it right for us to expect we could be competing with Carlisle for players? Some speculation we're paying out bigger wages...

Surely a dead cert to be offered a contract, surprised we even got a look in when they loaned him out.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Isn't Archibald-Henville the go by git that played in the pre season friendly and was absolute gash. Think he struggles playing too many games in succession too.

Personally wouldn't want any of them here

Also noticed ex-Macclesfield full back Braham-Barrett has also been released, looked a solid player in the cup and league games against Macc in the 12/13 season and must've been doing something right if he was signed by a football league side.
Popular side since '03.

Agree Andy Haworth, definitely improved the team during his time here and would be a great addition to what we already have.

Serious question Lisa, what is it you hate so much about anything Carlisle? bearing in mind our manager once played for them.

That honestly isn't meant to be a taking the [SwearFilter] question, I don't particularly like Fylde, Fleetwood or Wukkie but if cherry picking their cast-offs or *ex player helps us.....I'd take them.

*Not Danny Rowe though ;)

Livesey was, for most CUFC fans, the standout defender at Carlisle in 2013-14; his release came as a surprise.

Mark Beck would be a solid signing at this level, started the season well for them but struggled ever since his bairn was born (sleepless nights) - I've never seen a lad down a pint as quick; which is also solid for a centre forward ....would snap him up
And on the 7th day god created football
