I'm surprised that Sheridan has gone as Paul Casson seemed to regard him very highly (he was always mentioning him at fans meetings). I can only assume we are going to be getting a good few players in of a much higher caliber! Good stuff!

I'd have kept Shez, not too disappointed to see the other two go as they haven't done it often enough.

Reid and Wilson next. Then we can press on making the transition to a full time setup.
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.

If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

Not surprised with those gone today. Would expect Reid and Wilson to go, disappointed if they don't tbh. Reid hasn't impressed and haven't seen enough of Wilson to form an opinion, but injury wise, can he make the step up
everyone is entitled to their opinion, deal with it

Must admit Sam Sheridan going also taken me aback a little, another who contributed highly over our last two years! Injuries did seem to play a part in him getting that consistency on a regular basis but a proven match winner on his day! Gonna miss that enigmatic smile from Shezza. All the others have contributed in a season that has seen us crowned champions and maybe deserved a chance to prove themselves at the higher level, but saying that it certainly never worked for AFC Telford. PC, Edmo and Meeks have certainly wasted no time in clearing out before moving the club forward to hopefully another level and in doing so turned quite a few players ecstacy into agony with it! Football can be very harsh at times no such thing as sentiment or job security in this game, some very interesting weeks lie ahead.

Theres getting rid of players that wont be able to make the step up, and then there is breaking up a close squad who have just won the league together, and bringing in a lot of new faces which might not fit in. Thin line.

If they can't make the step up there's no point keeping them even if a happy squad.

That's football, start again but get the right players in ie good players but with the right attitude.

When Ledsham had his first game at Hyde and scored twice, I thought we might have someone who could do a job,but he just seemed very ordinary after and then made a few sub appearances.Disappointing.Gorman never quite did it for me.Thought Sheridan would be retained
