Re: 2015-2016 Confirmed Fixture List
Anyone know when the TV fixtures for BT Sport are going to be confirmed and what differences that is likely to make in terms of days/times?
Also is August Bank Holiday Monday (31st) at Halifax a 3pm kick-off?
Need to book travel early in order not to pay a fortune but dare not do so until I know the answers to the above. Can't find anything obvious about it on our or any other websites

Another week or two for the BT fixtures to be announced I think.

Been in touch with BT it was a bit of a guesstimate I reckon, but they said what Dave has posted! So keep on looking online Si.Lancaster Branch wrote:Another week or two for the BT fixtures to be announced I think.

Cheers for the replies chaps. I was hoping I might have missed it somewhere. Bit pants if we have to wait up to a couple of weeks - cheap train tickets may be gone by then.

Just get an early train so you are in Halifax for 12 kick off wont be earlier than that if anything more likely to be a later kick off so more drinking timeSi_Nichols wrote:Ha! I think I will e-mail Halifax as probably have more chance of a reply.boyliegladbach wrote: Email the club and ask si.

Re: 2015-2016 Confirmed Fixture List
That would be okay except the cheapest fares are obviously advance tickets tying to a specific train and if it is much later than 1500 ko then won't be able to get back on the train same day anyway. I have fairly decent fares sorted out for first home game v Dover plus away games at Forest Green, Cheltenham and Halifax. It will be annoying if waiting for tv fixtures etc. results in missing out on these fares and usually ends up almost doubling the cost of travel. The upshot of that will be not attending one of those games and it would probably be the Dover home game as the price differential there is potentially greatest and in fact has already changed in last 48 hours.
I have tweeted BT Sport Football and e-mailed both Barrow and Halifax so will see if anyone has any answers soon.

Si I really can't see Halifax being anything other than a 3pm kick off.

Can't say that that really appeals to me, to be honest, Chris.barrowfan_chris wrote: Just get an early train so you are in Halifax for 12 kick off wont be earlier than that if anything more likely to be a later kick off so more drinking time
Spending time in Halifax, that is. I'd be OK with the extra drinking time!

Probably not Stu but at £50 for the cheaper option train tickets then I don't really want to take the risk.Van Der Nipper wrote:Si I really can't see Halifax being anything other than a 3pm kick off.
Hopefully you should get a bus or two that day as I would imagine it should prove a popular day out that one.

Yep - we don't enter the Trophy till 1st round proper this season which is much later. The rounds we enter the FA Cup and Trophy are reserved dates without league fixtures.

Konaldo - if it's Alty I'd appreciate you not making me miss my train again! Especially since that's my birthday..
