I've got a day off tomorrow and was planning on going down to the shop and getting my season ticket and maybe a shirt but will it be open? After reading this thread i don't know weather to bother, it'll be about half 10-11. And for what it's worth, totally agree with a former member of this forum. The commercial side has been shit for years and to be honest i joined the forum because being an ex-pat for so long, it was the only place to get any sort of up to date info, i don't even bother with the clubs website, it was that bad. I agree with others that the playing side is doing just fine but commercially we're losing lots of money. Casson and his money won't be here for ever, we should not and must not be complacent

Be carefull agreeing with me.


Just agree that its wrong and do nothing about because thats all that Barrow fans can do now apparantly.

Yes you are wrong, what the relevance would be anyway I don't know? An attempt at trying to get personal perhaps? Leave that for the mods to decide?

People are well within their rights to disagree with you, you don't seem to understand this, its a forum for debate, you put your argument across we disagree with it.

Getting personal, swearing (or attempting to) and telling me I'm brainwashed wont make me go away. If you got off the internet and had the decency to go and speak to someone face to face then maybe there wouldn't even be the need for this thread???

I realise that this is a little off the main point of this topic, however, a friend of mine recently enquired about the job specs and salary of the job currently advertised on the club's official website (the advert asks any prospective applicants to email for futher info). My friend sent an email and received a reply 3 days later!

Okay; not a considerable length of time one might think? However, the deadline for applications was ONE DAY after he received the aforementioned email! (the deadline has now been put back).

With regard to the main thrust of this topic and the club's business acumen - it does make you wonder!...
