It's only £30.00 to see Gazza! The Forum: 7th November...

Just concerned that people over paying £40 for a ticket to this event might do so thinking they are able to take part in a secret auction thats been advertised. When really youve got to over pay £600 to sponsor a player for the year.

Where did that £600 quid figure come from though? It's never been that high ever!

The highlight for me was watching you strutting your stuff on the dance floor Tommy. Surprisingly light on your feet for your size.
You even outshone "Mr Smooth Operator" Paul? Murray. He needs keeping an eye on!!!.
Nice that Brian Arrowsmith was the Guest of Honour.
All the tables were assigned a player---I had two, Padz and Brad Carroll, a very nice young man. I think he was Paddy's minder!!!.
Fantastic luxury porta loos. Makes you realise how crap (pun intended) ours are.
The players were introduced one at a time to the diners and thank goodness ARH wasn't sat next to Mo Fofana who is a big unit.
I didn't win a prize--well having Paddy for company was enough for me. I had to indicate by tapping my watch that it was time for the players to leave and get a good nights rest ready for today's debut at Holker Street.
An enjoyable evening was had by all.
Then it was time for home.

Glad the event proved a huge success in the end! Hopefully the first but not last, of what could blossom into a great partnership for both parties.

Really pleased for the Hospice that the event appears to have been a success. They have also probably learned a few things for when they organise the next event in conjunction with Barrow AFC.

I was at the ground all week and those people worked so hard to get everything ready. From the Hospice people to the Marquee people and the caterers and Suzanne and everyone else a big thank you.
I must post this as there seems so much negativity but Mrs Casson worked her socks off after arriving on Wednesday.

A 9 hour flight followed by a 2 hour train journey and straight to the ground, on with the rubber gloves and helping me to clean the toilets and changing rooms etc.
Back down on Thursday cleaning, then attended Fred Else's funeral as the club representative(didn't realise how far it was to walk from the ground to St Paul's and back!!!!) and then back to the cleaning when we finally left at 6pm.
Friday there again helping out where ever needed. Top gal. :scarf:

P.S. A certain person waltzed in when it was all done.
