Final Standings
Re: Final Standings
Dreaming that we'll set off like a house on fire and be right up there around Christmas and then reinforce in the new year and make the last play off position.
In reality we need a couple of seasons to grow off the pitch first so comfortably above the relegation zone with some good passing football will make me happy.
Heart says 5th
Head says 14th

I think we have recruited well and will finish in the top 3rd of the league.

Re: Final Standings
I reckon we'll get around 61-62 points, which should take us to around 12th-13th.
Anything better than that will be a fantastic achievement in our first season back at Conference Premier level.
Mid-table stability will do me just fine.

Re: Final Standings
Mathematically safe from relegation before Easter but still in with a chance of the playoffs. Finish eighth.

Not really arsed where we finish but I reckon top half. Let's go mad and say 8th.

Somewhere irrelevant in mid-table, 14th say.
We'll win the Trophy though.

Re: Final Standings
A mid table finish would be a good effort; then we could strengthen again when everyone has had a good evaluation of what’s required to make further progress. However if we do find ourselves in the “play-off conversation” that would be an achievement up there with our FA Cup exploits and Wembley appearances.
On a personal note, season 16/17 will be 50 years since I started going to watch The Ziggers in the league days as a junior season ticket holder – it would certainly be something to resume watching league football there again exactly half a century later.
