Lol at the offside decision for what should have been their equaliser. The standard of football may be higher at this level but it doesn't look like the standard of linesmen is any different.

Hot sunshine, 2285 fans for the opener, 3 pts happy days.

We worked hard, Fofana and Mellor looked good in midfield, will get better as they get fitter.
Cooky worked his socks off. A really tough game as Dover looked a decent outfit.
Bet they are gutted they never got at least a point.
An entertaining game that could of gone either way.

Now the negatives.

Issues with tickets that I will take up with the club directly.

We need a Right Back urgently. Cowps beaten time and time again, out of position all the time. He is going to cost us a lot of points.
Think Dixon is an excellent shot stopper but routed to his line at corners etc. Needs to be more commanding. 2 excellent saves.
Need another striker as cover as 3 strikers not enough at this level.

Very good attendance, wish I could be one of the faithful every week but my location and shift work prevent it.

Couple of things looking at them highlights. What, was Danny Livesey doing with that attempted pass to Dixon/Cowps? lucky to get away with that one. Watching the build up to the second confirmed what I thought yesterday, as good as we'll probably see this season with Mo being right in the middle of it all, a cracking ball in by Pilks - right into the danger area where any good striker should be. I don't think Symo will want to look too many times at his chance towards the end, laid right in his path but terrible first touch.

As for their disallowed goal - two players clattering into a keeper is never going to look too good, not at all surprised at the goal being ruled out. Probably not offside but a fair outcome.

We need a Right Back urgently. Cowps beaten time and time again, out of position all the time. He is going to cost us a lot of points.

Edmondson obviously has faith in him and he needs to be given time to settle into the role. I think he is an decent footballer and could well become a star in that position. Give him a break and see how things are after 10 or 12 games.

i thought that too, the guy could easily have seen red for the tackle, being as he looked like the last man.

On a side note, couldn't believe the amount of people wearing Man U shirts. What the hell is that all about?

That has even got a mention on the Dover forum! Got to admit, it was very odd.

Don't know how many shirts we've sold but I saw plenty earlier on in the day (well before KO) and there were loads in the ground during the game.
