Take a day off from talking total bollox will you, I have said that ONCE & apologized, Your spamming this forum with tripe & your circle of friends back you up, its what youth/social media do & that's fair enough, but youth tend to have a narrower way of looking at things due to age & inexperience while older poster through life experiences look at the broader picture & understand that to make an omelet you have to break a few eggs. You seem to want everything perfect, every little detail to be covered which is not real world life, things take time & sometimes certain area's suffer (comm side) while other area's (building the club for the longer term) take preference until you manage to then juggle it around and then give more attention to those area's that suffered initially, Leave the 3 year old whining stamping your feet child act out for a while and try a different perspective for a while.

I'd love PC to give you a role within the club so we can bombard you with frivolous inquiries like your I am taking our group booking to Fylde bollox & see you in faultless action

To assume that we will go down after 4 games against 2 of the top dogs, 1 side that finished 8th & got extra money in from Cup runs so can compete in the transfer market & a side on a high after coming up with us & played us off the park @ Holker St for large sections of the game & have some momentum after starting this league well, is crazy IMO.

We didn't deserve the 3 points. Guiseley had equally as many clear cut chances as us.

I can see why people call it garbage and dross , 90% of the time we hoof it long hoping for a Cook knock down, it hasnt changed at all , people would have read the chairmans comments about promotion, play offs etc and expected more only to be served up the same old long ball tactic.


Some lads that I know went last night - they aren't regulars - and have commented that they expected a lot better quality wise after all the hype.

Maybe the budget, like I've said before, should get us into the top half of the table. If thats PC expectations then that's great - Edmo seems to believe it too - he said on the radio - Guiesley lost 12 games last year and made the play off's so challenging for a play off place isn't over yet just because we have lost 2 games. If we survive and I think we will (hard to judge yet) and don't finish in the top half then I could see a new man in charge and maybe Edmo moved upstairs.

No need to argue tho - we all want to the best for Barrow AFC.

I will say tho if you go to games and spend money (that sometimes you can't really afford) and the team don't give 100 percent then you have every right to moan.

We won the league last year - there wasn't many games when we played that well - but we won it. Crowds will continue to rise as we progress but it takes time to build up that support - working in the community, having a presence in the town, working in schools, having a good commercial team, having better facilities, promoting the club, marketing etc - the key is increase that hardcore support so that it doesn't collapse when we have a couple of bad results.

As a town i find Barrow to be quite negative - it's a great place to live - but most don't believe it. Doom and gloom rules in Barrow it seems - I don't know why that is - but with a bit of belief the town and the team can be great.

I agree Bingo and as a fan I am happy at the fact we have been winning and did well result wise last season, but I can see why some who go for entertainment reasons rather than results think its garbage.

The football wasn't great to watch last season but it did a job, it got promotion which was a fantastic achievement after the previous season. And while i'm certainly not panicing after the 1st 4 games i think we all will be if Edmo carries on the with same long ball tactics. I don't get this veiw that if we'd have taken our chances we would have won easily, the reverse is true also with Guiseley having just as many good chances and therefore could have also won easily too. I don't believe we will go down just as i never bought the play off [SwearFilter]. Survive this season and build for next. It would be nice to see some football though.

To be fair, although we weren't great - I don't remember coming away from games last year thinking Wow, what a great side they were (opposition) - Guisley were one of the better sides last year, but didn't think they offered as much last night - perhaps it's us looking over fences thinking the grass is greener .. we may have seen two of the better sides in this league already - if we had met them later in the season think we would have coped better,,

Really? Even 'the better sides' as you call them can also improve their game as the season progresses.
