I did let fly with a party popper one New Year’s Eve at the Penny Farthing. Whoever was equipped with fireworks on Monday should have deployed one up the Manager’s rear following the Halifax equaliser. “Insanity is doing the same thing in the same way and expecting a different outcome”

It was nice to see Dan Pilkington warming up and moving freely pre-match at Halifax. Hopefully back in contention this weekend!

Where were you lads heading as you strode up that hill Si? Was there a Spoons up there?

First stop was the chip shop, next street on the right, but it wasn't open. Some then continued to a couple of 'Spoons in the town, the rest of us to the GBG listed Three Pigeons near the ground. I prefer a proper, old fashioned, pub with decent beer, and this didn't disappoint.

Same here - just for reference for next season, the Ring O' Bells (turn right out of the station, down the hill) had 5-6 ales on and served up proper home made chips

For an experienced defender like DL, that was a massive mistake to make!! throw your boot at the ball, head it out, chest it out.....anything.

Ashton was very easily brushed off for the second, far too easily.

We sounded a shambles on the radio from 75 min and it looked a shambles on the highlights.

Livesey was a bit unlucky with the first goal. He perhaps could have muscled the man away from the ball but really the bounce was very awkward and the scorer got lucky with a toe end. Not sure either whether Dixon should have come off his line when Livesey was covering the man.

Second was a piece of good play by the winger, which is what I would like to see our men do once in a while!

I don't think getting booked after 30 seconds helped Ashton on Monday.

For a player who has played 100s of games in the football league to let the ball bounce like that infront of his own goal is just un heard of. Nothing unlucky about it. Its terrible defending.
Dixon didn't need to come out but Livesey should have got rid a lot earlier.

Dixon was in no mans land for the first goal but it was liveseys fault poor defending.

That last 10-15 mins have masked what was a decentish performance we were in complete control if it wasnt for the post we would have had the game won comfortably.

Lacey had one of his better games for us.

Newby not being on the bench is a joke he did nothing wrong Saturday and to bring a lad who was injured and has done sod all in his place is shocking.

Defensively i really worry Grand isn't up to it at this level i hope he proves me wrong though.

As for our away support bar the flash bang or whatever it was werent that bad the stewards werent fighting with fans they came in a couple of times to tell people to stop standing on seats.

If people want that support and praise us for singing and mostly backing the team they have to except that sometimes you attract the odd idiot.

I really want Edmo to be a massive success i just worry about his long term vision im yet to see signs of progress with players or tactics.

Livesey should have got rid, however where Dixon is going is anybodies guess.

Ashton was beaten for the 2nd goal but to be fair it was good play from their player. As mentioned if he didnt have a yellow to his name he maybe could have fouled him.

3rd goal is a long ball chucked back at us and we couldnt deal with it.
