Without knowing the line-up yet and with Pilks out, it'd be good to see E. Newby getting some sort of game time tonight and not just a ten minute appearance at the end of the game. Probably a bit too much for him to start so out of what's left I'd go for BvdB over Symington.

If Williams is available he too must be pushing for a recall.

With a bit of luck Wilson will get a decent run-out as well, although I can't see Edmo risking giving him much more than twenty minutes or so.

Possibilities for some players to stake a claim for a game on Saturday including Mellor, Grimes & Fofana.

I can't get my head around people saying Newby is too young. He'll be 20 in a couple of months. There's players playing in the Premiership/Football League who are 16/17. If you are good enough, you are old enough. He'll do a better job than both van den Broek and Symington in my opinion. Get him in there.

Not saying he isn't good enough, but it'd be a shame to throw him in when perhaps he might be one of those players who would benefit from being built up to a full start over a period of time - that also happens in the Prem/football league.

I would like to see Williams start, however, he's still struggling with a groin injury. Worries me because it sounds as if, from my reliable sources, we have a Ledley King-esque player on our hands. Plays one game, out for the next.
