No midfield on the pitch either - where's Mellor, why's Harvey not started ???
Our big summer signings Mellor and Fofana aren't in the squad, and grimes on the bench. Whilst we have a Penrith utility player in midfield... Its not good enough Edmo, get it sorted!!
I do agree Harvey should be starting though for once

Sounds like our old favourite keeper is doing his bit to keep it at 1-0....
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Newby getting on for the customery few mins, sounds like we have ran out of time here but sounded like we are the better side but dont make the final ball decent or when we have today we've been wasteful, In saying that though we have made chances and should have won so this is one that got away from us in the end :( Unlucky Lads.

Great away following today :scarf:

You can't help but wonder how long Edmo's got if Casson's already had one 'emergency' meeting.

If you cannot score, u cannot win games. Chances can keep coming all u like but if u are not good enough to finish them and concede goals every game then you are going to lose a lot of games. It must be getting very close to Edmo and co being given their marching orders. January cannot come fast enough, but we need someone in charge who can recruit quality and more importantly play them. What the [SwearFilter] is the point bringing Newby on with 2 or 3 mins to go? [SwearFilter] useless !! I for one have had enough of this shite.

This is not acceptable, ppl can paper over the massive cracks but this is simply not the start we anticipated at the start of the season. We are a struggling side in a National league were the standard is not anywhere near what it once was a few years back. Poor poor start to the season and ppl will vote with their feet I fear tues night!!!!

As the Alty ground is only a stones throw from Manchester Airport I nearly made the effort to go to this game, how pleased I am now that I decided not to.

Not sure what the thought process can be behind bringing E N on with ninety seconds + added time to go!

Plenty of chances but a lack of being able to convert them has cost us, again. Two penalty misses last week and from the sound of it, enough chances to take the three points today. Looking at it like that, that's four points dropped in the space of a week. Not sure whether it's a bit of bad luck or just that the players we have are short of that bit of quality to find the net on a more regular basis.

I think this is probably our true position in terms of where we are in the league with the players we have at the moment.

Symington seemed to have a decent game, only fair to mention that with the stick he's recently had.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

7 points above bottom 4. 6 points from top 6. No one in this league (barring a couple) are consistent.Someone who can get just a mini run together will ease the pressure on their team. Can we? Cant score goals, so perhaps not.
Seasons to be cheerful.Part 16 3/4 :skill:

Whilst everyone slags off edmo let's not forget the board including Paul Casson sancioned all the signings
A lot of posters on here questioned their quality lack of goalscorers etc we told more or less to shut up!
Interesting to see if people still think this way!
We are struggling for consistency and it's alright saying can't wait till January but I've got to be honest i wouldn't trust edmo to go to the shop for me and that's with a list! :(
