"Some people believe football is a matter of life and death. I'm very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that."

Re: Chester game predictions
Back page of the mail says Edmo may turn to Grimes. Well, that is very magnanimous of him seeing as he gave him a two year contract and therefor saw him as one of two main strikers. Sod it, let's have a real go and have Grimes, Wilson and Cook up top and play 433. Also Walker in behind. Therefor. Dixon, Williams, Grand, Livesey, Ashton, Howarth, Walker, Lacey, Grimes, Cook and Wilson. That's 5 forwards. If that fails at least we gave it a go. That's what I would do anyway.

Re: Chester game predictions
I agree with GTBLUE's post and side picked, but I would have Steve Williams in for Grand. We need someone who can play the ball round a bit to the midfield and wingers for a change and build the play up, he is perfect, a decent defender. We are missing a trick not having him in as my neck hurts with Grands constant high ball punts, so easy for the opposition to know what we are about.

The fact I can't make the game tonight, coupled with our defeat on Saturday can only mean one thing: a good win for Barrow.

When fully fit he's the sort of player we've been missing in midfield .
He breaks up play and passes it simply.
He may not be the most attractive player to watch but he does that job better than lacey and Cowps combined.
