Very large homemade cottage pies last time I was there. Extremely tasty.

Homemade soup in equally large portions was good, too.

Some Kiddy fans moan about the food they supply. Probably prefer Balti pies made in the Big Factory in Birmingham.

Anyone had one? Better be bloody good at that price.

nothing beats Bayliss dads alleged remark about the fish and chips in Wembley
"£7.50 for fish and chips and it looks like the fish has eaten half the f*** in chips"

What a shame.

I don't tend to eat at football, not because I don't want to but because I have my issues with food

However I've sampled the meat soup and cottage pie at kiddie and I've got to say they are worth every penny

I do think we miss a trick not selling pies - as some of the best pies in the country are made in Barrow - get it sorted for next season Mr C

Some people suffer real hardship in this county but I would say Barrow is no different to many towns up and down the country tho - that's why it's good that the trust can donate tickets to those that can't always afford to go - when you suffer hardship ( I've had many spells of not working ) going to watch your local side is a great way of escaping your problems

This.

Is £15 too much to pay to watch Barrow? Ask the man who hasn't got it.

When it's a good game £15 is good value. When it's dross you wouldn't want to pay a fiver. I suppose you take the ups with the downs.

Rarely eat at football grounds but Kiddie is the exception. The cheese and onion "cottage pies" are superb and large. I couldn't eat all mine and I have a good appetite.
They also cook joints of pork for the buns which I have been told are terrific. I think they got an award for the best football catering.

A bit about Kiddie from a while ago from The Guardian:

The food at Kidderminster Harriers is legendary - local caterer Brian Murdoch has been feeding the Aggborough faithful for 47 years, and his team cook a remarkable number of dishes, from scratch, for every home game. I can recommend the chicken curry, but all of it: hot pork baps, individual shepherd's pies, pasta dishes, sausage 'n' mash, looks like manna from heaven compared to the usual event catering muck. The undoubted star of the show (Kiddie even had a fanzine called The Soup in the 80s) is Murdoch's thick meat broth, which starts life a few days earlier with Brian whizzing around the local butchers collecting lamb, pork and beef bones for his stock. On a freezing day, down in the depths of the Vauxhall Conference (sorry, Blue Square Premier) that soup is probably the best thing about the whole 90 minutes.

Not quite sure what I prefer at Aggborough - the broth (more a stew, really) or the cottage pie - so I usually have both. Expensive, yes, but definitely value for money. Far superior to the powdered soup and pastry encrusted gunge that other clubs pass off as nourishment.

Can't comment on the tea there, though; I'm too bloated!

I got slated on the national league banter page (#notbothered) by tranmere fans the other night because I called them robbing [SwearFilter] for the price of a can of lager and burgers at their place. It's up to personal choice whether you pay it or not but I don't like being ripped off and the prices they were charging were ridiculous. Gate price they were ott as well imo and I think what we charge is about right.

Bingo I don't know which Costa you drink in but I've never paid £4
