Barrow v Welling match thread

Post by John Very Little » Sat Oct 17, 2015 2:43 pm

Symington rested - likely to return as right-back next week as Barnsley don't want G.Williams to play for us in the Cup so he aint cup-tied for them.
Wilson not recovered from hamstring strain.
Same back 4 while Grimes returns to starting line-up.

Barrow:
Dixon
G.Williams
Ashton
Livesey
S.Williams
Cowperthwaite
Mellor
Haworth
Cook
Grimes
Pilkington

Subs:
Grand
AR Harvey
Walker
Fofana
E.Newby

0-1 ht, sounds like they absorbed well. On the other hand we were like 1 ply toilet paper! Early doors yet hopefully find the net a couple of times in the second half, but will it be enough!

Well done Cookie :scarf: from a good cross from Pilkington by all accounts. All of a sudden my cold pint of Leon tastes half decent. Keep at them Barrow. :scarf: :scarf:

If someone offered us four points from our next two games going into the Tranmere game we would of bit their hands off. But it sounds like we let another side off the hook!
