Well I'm hoping it does improve. I'll take other posters comments over the one you mentioned, but yes it was a defeat but a better performance according to some.

I suppose I'm in the minority but if we survive in this league this season then that's what I wanted at the start of the season. Survive and learn and then hopefully push on next season. I personally think edmo would have achieved that. Granted it hasn't been pretty to watch but think it's all irrelevant anyway and cassons decision has already been made
everyone is entitled to their opinion, deal with it

Casson has been in Dallas all week he's not been in the UK.

I really can't understand the panic - "get rid of Edmo".
Yes, it's frustrating losing games we ought to win, and yes there are some questions about his buys and some of his substitutions, but he was given a promise by a benevolent chairman. Keep that promise, and stop this destabilising thing now.
Anyone watching how well we played (OK for the first half!) against a team who are now 5th wouldn't want another manager without giving our current one a decent go.
The players were up for it, but one or two are lacking in vital things. Howarth has talent, but as a footballer is a bit thick. Sadly Mellor (a really nice lad) just can't get fit; he was knackered by half time, really gone because he's not naturally athletic. Grimes isn't interested. I could go on...

I feel bloody sorry for Edmo-the guy cant be expected to work with this hanging over his head, its bound to rub off on the players, or some of them anyway.
Consolidate, that's all we had to do this season and were on course to do so. But now, we have got this bloody big black cloud hanging over the club which could very well sink us-and I for one fully expect it will.I feel that Edmo will bring about big improvements next season if he is allowed to carry on, the Guys still learning himself, anyone with any sense can see that Edmo is dedicated to and is passionate about this club.
Be careful about what you wish for, because with every wish there comes a curse.
Our poor form and disappointing style hasn't started with the PC announcement...it has continued from the tail end of last season.
Consolidation should not include skirting with relegation...that's survival, not consolidation.
What in the name of everything that is Cowps makes you think that Edmo will bring big improvements next season? What has given you the slightest inkling that that will happen?
Do we WANT a manager who is learning? I certainly don't. I want a manager who knows the ropes and knows where he is going. Let learning managers learn somewhere else.
When did we have a manager that wasn't dedicated to the club and show passion. it's not enough. You might as well appoint me, a former member of this forum or Holkerbird.
Be careful what you wish for...wise words. You seem to wish for Edmo to be given at least the rest of the season. What curse do you think THAT will bring?
I don't get this learning aspect being brought up on some of the threads.
Edmondson has not been managing for a year or two.
He has managed for 8 years now.

All players mentioned were signed by Edmondson in the close season.
Add Fofana, and Van Den Broek and that is why things are what they are for Edmondson now.

Just with the title race being wide open , and especially the playoff places it's a darn shame and very frustrating that we can't get 2-3 wins on the bounce ! The players have shown they can do it with results and performances v Tranmere, Eastleigh , Dover , Chester , Cheltenham ( performance ) , showing we are capable but the team then switch off the next 90 mins! Answers on postcards!! I'd say that's the reason why Casson is frustrated!

No I haven't.
Spoke with Mo few weeks ago, he said he played with injury in first few games then it got infected and hasn't had a look n since.
I remember him last season away at oxford where they passed us off the park with ten men and we got a lucky win, he had a great game.
Also spoke with him at Kendal after the friendly where he said he loves playing passing football.

I guess he's just the wrong type of player for edmos style of football.

It wouldn't be hard looking good playing against our midfield last season. Mo looked a world beater against Kendal.....looked that easy even I thought of playing again.

I was at the game today and clearly Edmonson has lost the dressing room, the players although appearing to be on top never had a shot on goal in the first half and only one in the second, they did not close down the opponents they just sat back off them and let them dominate, when symington scored not one player ran over to congratulate him even though barrow were then only one goal behind, it was unreal and that speaks everything behind the team and club at the moment.

Sorry but thats nonsense. The players for me showed that they are behind Edmo, worked hard and tried their best to make things happen but ultimately we didn't have that bit of quality needed. They didn't celebrate the goal because Cook ran and got the ball out of the net and they all ran back to get the game restarted.

If we're going to criticise people lets at least make it realistic.

First half we looked good without actually creating much.

Second half was poor and some of the goals we conceeded were poor.

Our centre mids were invisible again.

Ashton is a loss lets sign NWA if we can.
